Oh the irony if Paloma holds Sam off the top spot by a small margin! Suspect that if Sam Smith is tweeting that then he is more than happy for Paloma to beat him, he generally comes across quite humble (Oscar gaffe aside).

November 22, 20178 yr Incidentally I notice that the Regular Edition of Paloma's Album was reduced in price yesterday on Amazon (for a short time) and it has propelled it back up to #4 on their Best Sellers. Certainly an anomaly that the Deluxe Edition is down at #85 - it is now only 1p more and contains 4 extra tracks. On iTunes the Deluxe Edition is the popular one (#6 against #30 for the Regular Edition). Based on those positions it would appear to be out-selling Sam Smith from those sources but can be mis-leading as there are other sales outlets and streaming where I guess Sam Smith is on top.

Sam Smith will most likely be at number 1. On current trends it suggests he'll be at number 1 by about 20 sales... but I bet it'll probably be more like 2k to 3k sales depending on how the OCC "guesstimate" Thursday streams.
