December 4, 20178 yr how can rak-su be #46 already? I assume their "non-eligible" sales have been made eligible. Ariana and Leona would be looking at possible top 40 entries this week but both are on ACR.

Or sales are low and 2 hours is enough ( since streaming is usually missing in Monday’s update) Edited December 4, 20178 yr by 777666jason
December 4, 20178 yr Looking like U2 could actually miss #1 and end up at #3 then. It's hard to see past Ed being Xmas #1 at this point.
December 4, 20178 yr Looks like “Havana” won’t be #1 on Friday :D We'll have to start calling you Sherlock
December 4, 20178 yr 5 Christmas songs top 40 and 3 top 10 it be interesting to see the Xmas chart and the one after (as Xmasday falls in that week)
December 4, 20178 yr 7, not too bad. They were 9 yesterday. Sweet - hopefully they can pick up a little bit more after yesterday's promo
December 4, 20178 yr Gwen sneaking into the mids top 40 again, where is Sia? U2 will miss no1 then, won't break 40k!
December 4, 20178 yr U2 will miss no1 then, won't break 40k! Yes, looks like you called it right in the Albums thread at the weekend - big surprise to me that U2's Sales seem to have fallen off a cliff. I do think they have tested the loyalty (and bank balance) of their fans over recent years in terms of the multiple Super Deluxe Re-releases they have put out.
December 4, 20178 yr I expect Sam Smith will be this week's #1 album, U2 don't have that big of a lead and Sam just had X-Factor promo. So annoying that this would've been the week where Rita finally would've got to #1 though I suppose it's just tough luck and she would've made it on very low sales. Ed Sheeran is unbeatable for the next few weeks I reckon. As much as I like Rita's song, she had the best promo for any song in ages, plus 59p on crucial weeks, yet still didn't get to #1 / above 45k sales. So I guess it's a bit of a tough luck - yes, but even if it got to #1 it'd be barely enough. Also hopefully P!nk will overtake Ball and Boe in the albums after the XF promo and move up to #4! December 4, 20178 yr Wow at Mariah being no.4, given how its holding its ground on Spotify at the moment I actually think this or another xmas song does have a shot at the xmas no.1 this year. Will be interesting to see how the x factor song does as if they combine both the versions its outselling ed 2-1 at the moment on downloads. Hoping it doesn't make it to no.1 even though I'm not keen on Perfect. Whilst I detest the x factor and its role in single handedly ruining the xmas chart for over a decade, its a little refreshing to see original winners singles rather than hashing out a lazy soppy/awful cover ballads.
