As so many of the episodes jump from a-z in a flash i totally missed out on Phil not knowing Sharon had the money. I had assumed from the scenes that Phil was in on it too so that was a surprise for me, (its also an indication that im not fully engrossed in the episodes to have missed that).

That aside, tonight's episode better be worth the wait as i have found the storyline tedious. The last 2 episodes in some ways were over built up to tonight's episode which puts the pressure on to deliver.

At this point, we can only assume that Phil feels some guilt for the Carters and Vincent and steps in and turns on Aidan. I am feeling it will end with him been killed tonight but we will have to wait until Monday to see who hit the final blow.

What the actual flying f*** was that, they're all so shit scared of him for months yet all it took was "we're gonna call the police".......... Why did they not just do that in the first place?
What has this Aiden storyline been all about? I've barely watched the programme since early January but I watched it tonight after hearing that something dramatic would happen tonight.
well that was utter crap...the tension was built so well last night but meh.... the trailer afterwards was the best thing of the half hour
That was a damp squib of an episode. lol at Aidan flying through the front door, as if Phil would have pushed him.
Was that it? A telling off from Phil and the threat of police? This could have been wrapped up ages ago. Mansood looking for a birthday card and Whitney walking around with a laptop really killed the mood.
Massively underwhelmed by that especially considering how hush hush it all was regarding spoilers.

What a boring conclusion, all that for nothing.

What the hell is going with the show, i had real hopes after the Christmas day episode but almost 3 months on and it is as flat as ever.

Pinning hopes on this Slater return kicking into gear now being what is going to save it... otherwise, what else can do they do?

After the carnage of the latest episodes and the brutally bad conclusions to storylines i wont hold my breath.

I would like to hope the return the Slaters will add a much needed injection of the hope to the show, but, i will reserve judgement. Right now, the show is stuck in such an awful rut that's showing no signs of improving at all.

Has any other soap ever been in such a bad state as this before?

I can't see it lasting another decade if it continues like this.

Samosas, a ridiculous Aiden storyline and even worse conclusion, the Carters, sexist female character deaths ... the Baked Bean.

All awful.

I dont remember any of the soaps been bad for such an extended period.

It is bad for so long that its making it harder and harder for it to return to form and also attract viewers back who have stopped watching.

There’s half hour of my life wasted watching Mick scared shitless Aidens going to walk through the vic doors!
Even Hollyoaks and Blackburn era Corrie has never stooped as low for so long as this has :/
