Really a discography of two halves! First 7 vary from good to amazing, last 7 are all largely crap (bar Gorilla & I've yet to hear Finesse).

 

But we'll start with 24K Magic, hideous song.

Wow, this is a really strong discography looking at it written down like that. My least favourites from him are mainly the ballads like Just The Way You Are, When I Was Your Man and It Will Rain so I've gone for the latter in this round.

 

Grenade is really rather overplayed too though so I'll be going for that soon as well. The Lazy Song to win ~~

My entire family, myself included, is obsessed with Bruno Mars so this should be exciting for me. Went with “Gorilla” first, I always found that to be his weakest single as a whole. JESUS CHRIST WHAT A DISCOGRAPHY.

Hoping we won't get rid of the best song on the list first again (namely 'It Will Rain', I'm usually not that big on Bruno's ballads but that one is such a standout, really gorgeous track). Was a close pick between 'Grenade' and 'When I Was Your Man' but gone with the latter.

 

I find in general that Bruno's first era hasn't aged particularly well but WIWYM aside he's very solid from 'It Will Rain' onwards! (Haven't heard 'Finesse' yet tho and I don't think I ever heard 'Young Girls' either :thinking:) My favourite track from the 'Doo-Wops & Hooligans' era these days is actually probably 'Runaway Baby', I guess that wasn't a single despite being a UK top 20 hit though.

Voted 'It Will Rain' (never heard that or 'Young Girls'). Let's not vote 24K Magic early....

When I Was Your Man is my favourite :( I don't care for his ballads or many ballads in general but that really strikes a chord with me.

 

It Will Rain however, certainly doesn't, straining to death and dull. So, I chose that.

Runaway baby is probably my favourite Bruno song altogether *.*

A mixed bag, I used to really not like him early on in his career.

 

My favourites are 'Treasure', 'It Will Rain' and 'Finesse' - hoping they can do well here!
