What are the current units for No Time for Tears? 130k?

156-160k.

No Time For Tears will easily go Silver then meaning just Word Up and One I've Been Missing will be their only singles without a certification, although the latter will at least be helped with a Christmas boost every year so maybe it'll just be Word Up at one point.

Which is absolutely incredible. All but 2 (1 after a few more Christmases) will be certified.

Poor Word Up lol

They were lucky Word up was a charity single it wouldn't have done half as well as it did if not... it really is their worst single and also the worst version of the song. They had so many killer tracks left on that album Towers or These four walls should have been released in it's place.

Hmm, if Columbia were to update their US certifications we could realistically say:

Wings - 2,000,000 (2x Platinum)

DNA - 500,000 (Gold)

Move - 500,000 (Gold)

Black Magic - 2,000,000 (2x Platinum)

Love Me Like You - 500,000 (Gold)

Shout Out To My Ex - 2,000,000 (2x Platinum)

Touch - 1,000,000 (Platinum)

Reggaeton Lento - 500,000 (Gold)

Woman Like Me - 500,000 (Gold)

I think DNA, Get Weird & Glory Days would be at least Gold too.

It would bring their WW totals up by at least 10 million.

Where did you get these estimations they seem ridiculously high? I mean Wannabe is on 3 million US sales and that streams higher than any of Little Mix's singles does worldwide and it already had over 1.5 million sales to it's total before that recent update. Wings which has never streamed as high and was #79 with a Gold certification so you'd be saying it's streamed the same as Wannabe to get to 2 million sales. Same for Black Magic 500k at #67 and Shout out wasn't even certified at all at #69. Then 300k album sales I highly doubt they have even reached the 69million that people are suggesting combined, nevermind on single sales alone.

Don't get me wrong Little Mix have done amazingly and they are easily one of the biggest selling singles acts of all time in the UK so credit to them. The argument of streams is obviously questionable I mean they have outsold The Beatles which is somewhat ridiculous

The Beatles have sold over 22 million singles in the UK (pure sales) and LM total record sales in the UK is around 22m with streams added but it's around the 8.5m mark in pure sales.

It doesn't make sense when people compare different acts in regards to the sales v streaming units argument.

Of course it doesn't make sense but people do it all the time when they say biggest selling so so of all time...

Didn't know they were on 8.5 million sales in pure sales that is incredible! :o

crazy how Get Weird is doing more in the long run than glory days, black magic is also looking to be outdoing SOTME too on streaming/youtube

just had a look at the overall sales for both, Black Magic will probably pass Shout Out to My Ex eventually I think.. Black Magic is 50k< away from 3x Plat and consistently sells more than SOTME.

Yes streams are very inflated, just look at Ed Sheeran. :D

I think it's the opposite tbh, had they not gotten involved with this, they would've released a single of their own which would've probably sold way better. So i see no luck there... It was just a very wrong move, but I understand why it was done after Little Me underperformed.

No what I meant was they were lucky that Word up was a charity single, had they released it on it's own as a regular single it would have bombed, not that it was the right move for them to do at the time.

It would never have been a single without the charity aspect anyway.

Yeah Word Up! as a Little Mix single would not have existed had it not been a charity single. we were meant to get Nothing Feels Like You weren’t we? I’m sure Jade confirmed that? Would’ve been perfect and maybe could’ve revived the Salute era :(
Guess I'm gonna unpopular opinion but I quite like their version of word up and still listen to it from time to time be a shame if it does end up being their only non certified

I think it's "fun" for what it is. A fun, charity single. It's actually one of my favourite of that ilk, probably tailing 'Just Can't Get Enough' by The Saturdays.

But they definitely have much, much stronger material and thankfully, every single one is higher. I love that they only have 2 covers. 1 was the coronation single and the other a charity single. But I guess adding "rent-a-rappers" to single remixes is just the modern day equivalent to a pop act releasing covers instead.

511k is amazing for the amount of time it's been out and how low sales are at the moment! Platinum by Summer hopefully!
