Smith issued her debut single, "Blue Lights," in 2015, but it was 2016's powerful "Where Did I Go?" that began turning heads. That track, and the follow-up single "Beautiful Little Fools," eventually culminated in the late-2016 release of Smith's debut EP, Project 11. The following year saw her international profile elevated via her multiple appearances on Drake's surprise playlist/LP More Life, which saw her holding court amongst a bevy of high-profile guests like Kanye West, Young Thug, 2 Chainz, and Travis Scott. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History Jorja Smith 2017 24 Get It Together (Drake feat. January 19, 20188 yr poor Hailee :( If it ended up being #41 this week I will be gutted. Bloody Shape Of You refusing to leave.
January 19, 20188 yr Let Me Down is a really lovely track, I'm pleased it's debuted top 40! Very different to most chart hits nowadays, in a good way. Her voice is lush too
January 19, 20188 yr I wasn't expecting much commercial success for Jorja Smith so I'm pleased to see that she's scored a top 40 hit as a lead artist after all! This is sounding solid on first listen, I am really liking the inclusion of strings in particular. Up with strings in the chart! Other than Clean Bandit ofc x
January 19, 20188 yr 33 37 08 Steel Banglez feat. Yungen, MoStack, Mr Eazi & Not3s Bad - Chart Run NE (07/12/2017) | 53-50-66-66-78-44-37-33 Information Released: 24th November 2017 Label: Gifted Music Chart sales: 70k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 86 Sales 43 Streaming Video AmeDPq-JmAw Biography Born and raised in Forest Gate, East London, British hip-hop producer, songwriter, and DJ Steel Banglez's first steps into music came when his mother taught him how to play various classical Indian instruments at a young age. Picking up the music bug, Banglez was then taught how to DJ by his older brother before immersing himself in the then-growing grime and U.K. garage scenes, regularly appearing on local pirate radio stations. After studying music production and audio engineering at London's SAE -- and finding himself serving time behind bars -- Banglez started producing for local talent, making a name for himself with tracks for the likes of Ghetts and Yung Meth, Wiley, and P Money. Banglez set himself apart from the standard grime production of the time, bringing in samples from Bollywood films, Jamaican dub, and Chinese music. After contacting Birmingham-based MC MIST via social media, Banglez hooked up with the vocalist to record the M.I.S. to the T EP in 2016. The standout track "Karlas Back" helped propel his production work into the spotlight. At the beginning of 2017 he issued the single Money -- which featured guest spots from the likes of MoStack, Abra Cadabra, Haile, and MIST -- while also signing a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell. A few months later, Banglez released "Bad," which saw him once again teaming up with MoStack, as well as Not3s, Yungen, and Mr Eazi. By year's end, the single reached number 50 on the U.K. pop chart. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History Steel Banglez 2017 33 Bad (Steel Banglez feat.
