Hey, it's the only one of the top 3 I voted for. A little peeved I JUST fell out of the top 20 after being there for the whole reveal (this is why juries are out of touch and should be thrown aside :angry: ) and that I missed out on a top 20 with my initial entry, but still a respectable position, thanks all once again for voting. February 5, 20187 yr I am so shocked! I was really hoping for a top 10 and to maybe snatch a top 5 out of this because it’s been so long. But this was totally unexpected. Thank you so so so much to everyone who voted for Alvaro & Ashton I’m so pleased that so many people have enjoyed this track the same way that I have been. No word of a lie this was selected as my January entry in September so I’ve been praying that no one took it during 99 or 100 because i was so in love with it. Shocked. Thanks everyone. February 5, 20187 yr Well that was the best remaining contender so HUZZAH *.* congrats Phil on finally getting an untied winner and of course that record gap between wins! Greatly deserved, the catchiest song in the contest. 5 points from me felt too low (it just got unlucky that literally all but like 2 of my favourites qualified). Actually kinda excited for an Ashton hosted main contest. don't make me lose excitement by delaying it for 5 years again :kink: Wow at us getting basically the poppiest top 3 for years in the contest where seemingly every pop country left? :lol: I guess I was somewhat right about pop songs benefiting from not splitting the vote as much as usual or something x Slay at 3 countries getting their first top 10 hits, way way way overdue for Taahino OBVZ, but most proud of Lotunia :wub: I was hoping they might have scraped in with such a standout track, 6th is fab! Also super super glad to see CANVAS made the top 10 as I was worried it wouldn't connect like the usual Aeroche entries! Now don't you wish you sent it years ago Lew x + Jadakissnia getting that top 10 as I already posted is wonderfullll, a lot higher than I'd have predicted it! And St. Burbia being top 10 is fab too so basically that whole lower half of the top 10 is goals. Near enough exactly midtable suits me, I really didn't have a clue what to expect this time as I thought my song would be super polarising but actually I haven't yet heard of anyone truly proper hating it... (I know y'all are out there and just haven't posted it x) Thanks to all voters *.
