Is Drake literally going to feature on a song every other week now? 'Look Alive' is now his fourth in as many weeks, and giving it a listen it may as well be Drake feat. BlocBoy JB rather than the other way around.

Not a great start for Calvin, eek. This may even miss the top 40 which would be disastrous.

Really hope this manages to do something. I imagine it will really struggle on streaming unless it gets some major playlist support. Ballads aren’t usually big streaming songs.

It wasn't put on the New Music Friday playlist sadly.

BBC Radio 2 played the solo version and it had quite a bit of a jump:

#26. Calum Scott - You Are The Reason

#43. Calum Scott & Leona Lewis - You Are The Reason

The solo version is 59p. Hopefully the duet version will get some airplay as well. Apparantley there will be some upcoming promotion for the duet version. Looking forward to it!

Because his label is promoting him primarily as a new artist with a potential hit song, not a talent show participant.

weird thing is that the Leona duet is on the New Music Friday in a lot of European countries, but not UK, weird
At first I thought “BlocBoy JB” was some new way to talk about/diss Justin Bieber
“Chandelier” going up to #63 might have something to do with it being used twice during the Manchester auditions of BGT last night
