For me, it would be the arcade game Defender - I played that all the time in the 80's!

My most played game ever is splatoon 2 for Nintendo Switch and it's not even close if I'm honest. I'm at 700+ hours I'm sure.

If I was to consider all of the versions of Mario Kart I've played, it'd probably be that! Although it could very well be the various Pokemon games.

Runescape. Played it loads when I was younger, I have ~7750 hours put into it. That's over the course of ~15 years though. I had a good group of friends I used to really enjoy playing it with.

 

If you count the Pokemon series as a whole, I likely have over 5000 hours across all games since the originals were released.

 

I can be quite a hardcore gamer, particularly if I'm really into a game. A lot of RPG/open world game series like Dragon Age/Mass Effect/Fallout and team based games like League of Legends/Overwatch I've put thousands of hours into as well. Games are to me what TV/Books are to others. Although I have been gaming a lot less recently in the last couple of years.

 

 

I would say it’s Final Fantasy X for me, which I still return to very occasionally on PS4.

Pretty much the football management games and FIFA games throughout the years have been the most played for me.

Either one of the Gran Turismo’s or the first Digimon World! I just got the latest one, and I’m enjoying it, back on the same lines as the first one. :D

Definitely Mario Kart Wii for all the time spent playing online mode with the likes of Bal, Jay and Bray. The original Sims for Playstation 2 probably comes 2nd, or if you group the various editions of Singstar under one umbrella it could be that :P

Pokémon HeartGold with 400+ hours played since December 2010. No other game I've ever played even comes close to that. :lol:

Unless I'm forgetting something on a console, though it'd still be a tall ask, I've got roughly 1,000 hours in Team Fortress 2 that doesn't look like being overtaken any time soon.

5 years later, Furi has overtaken TF2 on steam but also they're both demolished by Tetris 99 which came out a year after this post and I now have 2000 hours in it and counting.

I spent probably around 3 months just to acquire the Musha Gundam (and its Mk-II) license.

Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition

Anything to do with GTA, Sonic or Mario. And I also like my old school arcade games such as OutRun series, Virtua Fighter series, Daytona USA and Sega Rally

Over all the years, probably Tetris! I was particularly obsessed with Tetris DS in the 00s.

 

I put a LOT of hours into Banjo-Kazooie on the N64 too. I remember the entire week between Christmas and New Year 1998 was just me playing that non-stop.

 

And Grand Slam Tennis on the Wii I got weirdly addicted to as well.

At this point it has to be Fortnite, I've been playing it for 5 and a half years :drama:

Definitely Minecraft, only game I play. I've probably sunk over a 1000 hours into that game.
