Higher WAS the Sats' highest placed song tho, unless I'm misreading the list of what's left to come? Good song but I wouldn't say it's timeless, the production's very early 2010s, really liked it at the time though.

I predict a No Scrubs win from here on out or possibly an unexpected Spice Girls song, Wannabe would be the obvious expected winner but I wouldn't be surprised if some folk gave it tactical low scores to drag it down and get something in over it :P

Higher WAS the Sats' highest placed song tho, unless I'm misreading the list of what's left to come?

'Up' is still to come in the top 20!

Pure Shores received the most 10’s and 11’s from memory .

No Good Advice is definitely within the top half of GA singles for me! 15 years on and I still find it to be quite a thrilling listen, and I certainly found it very exciting when it was freshly released - there was something quite defiant about it, which appealed to me as a teenager. It was the release of No Good Advice that made me become fully on board with Girls Aloud and think of myself as being a big fan. (I loved Sound of the Underground, but I do remember being a little worried it'd be a fluke moment - No Good Advice reassured me that there was something special with them and from that moment I had every faith that they'd continue being successful!).

Over the years I've got the impression that The Show isn't too highly regarded within the fan base or with pop music fans at large, so I'm pleasantly surprised to see it so high up in the results here!

Something Kinda Ooooh is my absolute favourite GA song, and Sexy! is 2nd or 3rd - so I'm a little disappointed that they didn't manage to make it within the Top 20 at least. Two huge moments in pop! I've never got bored of either song in the 10+ years they've existed!

Obviously pleased to see a fair few Spice songs within the Top 20. I assume Viva Forever will be the first to drop out, given the handful of -1s - but in light of that I'm pleased it's actually managed to get this high.

The only songs I'm a bit "hmm" towards being within the Top 20 are Round Round (I do really like it, but not to this extent - I wouldn't begrudge it being somewhere in the 21-40 area) and All the Things She Said (I'm still a bit opposed to duo songs being included, and in any case I don't think that song holds a candle to many girl group songs that have departed already).

As for The Saturdays, I think Up is a pretty worthy top choice for them! When they launched in 2008, I really liked that they were bringing uncomplicated pure pop into the charts, it felt refreshing. I think this is one of their greatest moments for sure.

Don't Let Go is an all time fave of mine, an absolutely perfect example of 90s R&B girl power  Little Mix's performance of it is one of my top X Factor moments ever also!

Higher is fab, I don't go back to The Saturdays songs *that* much given how much I absolutely lived for them at the time but it's certainly their best alongside Up.

As for the top 20, Viva Forever needs to go ASAP, vile song. I'd say what I want to win but I can't say I'd begrudge any of that top 20 except VF and I also find Touch isn't as life shatteringly brilliant as everyone makes it out to be, it's probably like 10th in my list of LM songs oops, so it'd be a bit shit if that won but I doubt it will. I couldn't begin to hazard a guess at what will win though, it'll be interesting to see how it unfolds :o No Scrubs might be a good shout, SURELY nobody dislikes that but then with what has happened thus far I probably shouldn't make that assumption...

Obviously I know it's well documented that you dislike Viva Forever, but vile...! :( What makes it vile for you? :o

Kicking off the Top 10 is All Saints with their signature hit along with 'Pure Shores' (which is still to come), 'Never Ever'. It was released as their second single after 'I Know Where It's At' and was a huge hit worldwide, really making their mark as one of the big girlgroups and offered an 'alternative' to Spice Girls at the time. It debuted at #3 but rose to a peak position of #1 nine weeks later in the UK which was almost unheard of back in the late 90's! An absolutely phenomenal chart run as well as massive sales making it one of the biggest girlgroup hits to date. Re-listening to it, it still has such a sense of nostalgia and longing, the girls vocals work so wonderfully together. A true classic that probably deserved to be higher.

At #19 is the only girlgroup duo left, Tatu, with their debut hit 'All The Things She Said' - a huge #1 in the UK helped massively by it's controversial (at the time at least) video depicting the two as lesbian schoolgirls kissing in the rain. I'm not too sure it would kick up that much of a fuss these days but I remember it being a huge deal back in 2003 for some reason :'). It was also a Top 20 hit for them in the US - a good song that I don't go back to often but still a strong pop song.
Yes, the BBC even did a news report about the controversy about All The Things She Said and banned the music video on Top of The Pops.

At #18 is the last Saturdays song remaining, 'Up' their breakthrough Top 5 hit which I believe is their biggest selling single to date. It is also their longest running single as well, that chart run low key has me shook - I had no idea it was that big! I do think they have better but it was at a time when there were no real girlgroups around - Girls Aloud had gone on hiatus and Little Mix were yet to be a thing, so it was perfect! They never really surpassed this song success wise however.
Never Ever is lush  Love the other two too, even though I was like 6 at the time I really rememebr the fuss around ATTSS as well, seems ridiculous that as little as 15 years ago that would have caused such a stir!
All The Things She Said would have got 11 from me,with Trevor Horn's excellent production. I didn't vote as there were too many songs in the final 100 that I didn't know and I didn't have the time or the inclination to listen to and rate them all.

At #17 is Sugababes with 'About You Now' - a huge #1 for them and the lead single released from 'Change', it was also their highest charting single since 'Push The Button' in 2005. It has often been used in shows often such as Hollyoaks hence its reappearance later on at #34. I really thought this would be Top 10 here, a strong pop song with an amazing feel good chorus, a true girlgroup classic.

At #16 is Sugababes again, this time with #1 hit 'Push The Button' taken from their fourth studio album 'Taller In More Ways', and their last #1 hit with Mutya in the group - she departed the group shortly after 'Ugly's release. One of Sugababes' classic songs, basic in production but has enough to it to make it a catchy, fun, pop hit that sticks with you.
