New Lexico was comfortably my 13 pointer so not am I only elated for them to get their first win finally but I also would have never given them any less than that so I don’t consider I shot myself in the foot there. Very very happy to get a live piano ballad to what is essentially joint first!

Sorry to have been fairly last minute, I was way too tired on Tuesday to put together a coherent voting PM after my first listen of the final and only got around to a second listen at a very nocturnal hour last night. The only swap was my 1 point, which initially was awarded to something that sounds typically up my street, but instead it has gone to a song that I wasn't expecting to vote for in the final at all, it has really crept up on me.

...was actually about New Lexico receiving my 1 point at the last minute, so FSR Rontvia would have won if I didn't make that switch :o omg!! Every point counts.

 

I am really happy with this results table on the whole actually! I would have liked to have seen Cor Lupus a bit higher but that still did just fine anyway.

 

Oops at 5 songs scoring lower than 100 points ;o that seems pretty high compared to usual.

 

Thanks for your superb hosting Jerick :wub: this was extremely enjoyable to follow despite viewing from the sidelines. Looking forward to 104, 90s drum 'n' bass here we come ~

I didn't rate Lost Without You that much, but I was almost rooting for it as that feels so harsh for Rich losing a tiebreak yet again :lol: BUT on other terms, while I didn't vote for either, I did enjoy New Lexico's song more and it's great to finally get another long term country get an overdue win, congrats Lex! :D Pretty great top 10 as well with Quintessa, Deandria and Lotunia and my 18 for Persephonia definitely outperformed expectations (although now that you bring it up...where was all this support for Cusco guys?! :angry:)

I hoped for something a bit higher than 29th for Superstar but I think the guitar at the start was enough to put off most of the pop bloc even though the chorus is quite poppy.
