April 6, 20187 yr There's a little 41 second promo of the album if you search for 'arctic monkeys tranquility' on Apple Music...
April 6, 20187 yr So good to see this lot are returning. I’ve loved all of their albums up to now and hope this continues.
April 6, 20187 yr I've loved eras 1, 2 and 5. The 3rd and 4th I wasn't fussed on. :o How can you not like Humbug? It's worth it for the excellent “Crying Lightning” alone. I take your point on Suck It and See, although I still really enjoy that album.
April 6, 20187 yr I wasn't really a fan of "Crying Lightning" either 🙈 It may grow on me as I will now inevitably hammer their singles discography with the album coming out
April 6, 20187 yr Crying Lightning was a great tune along with My Propeller but the rest of the Humbug era was meh and don’t get me started on Suck It And See! Edited April 6, 20187 yr by gavindeejay
April 6, 20187 yr Humbug had it's moments, but was average at best and Suck it and See is terrible. The period from 2009-2011 was awful, I remember seeing them live and it was clear Alex was really ill. I think whatever personal issues he had at the time really seeped through to the music.
April 6, 20187 yr The clip on Apple that radio 1 played shows that anticipation is really growing for this release and it could become one of those huge moments, if the single is in any way appealing it could be a no1!
April 6, 20187 yr 'Do I Wanna Know?' is one of my favourite songs of 2013 and 'AM' is a marvellous record so my hype levels are sky high for this!
April 6, 20187 yr Just listened to AM there before bed, sounds so good to hear it again. I imagine it could go top 20 again in the next month like Wanted on Voyage has.
April 7, 20187 yr my least fav is album 3, big big let down, esepecially the single Crying lightning, their worst single ever album 4 is slightly better and the Hellcat Spangled Shalala track is really good, best song out of albums 3-4, should have been the lead single
April 7, 20187 yr AM is my favourite Arctic Monkey's album, and its unusual for bands like them to best their debut so far into their career. Very excited to hear their new music.
April 8, 20187 yr The BRITs best group nominees next year will be interesting, with lots of British groups (AM, Bastille, The 1975, Little Mix, Muse, Snow Patrol, Blossoms etc) releasing albums. I'm almost certain AM will win, though. Edited April 8, 20187 yr by WhoOdyssey
April 12, 20187 yr all my mates are getting tour tickets for the autumn buttt they're so expensive :''(
April 12, 20187 yr It hasn't been confirmed, but there are rumors floating around that they aren't going to release a single until after the album is out.
April 12, 20187 yr I hope that isn't true... I've found some articles from March stating the lead single will be out 'soon' which suggests there is a single at least...
