I've just realised they haven't playlisted it now that you've mentioned it. How bizarre. I actually thought 'Tongue' would properly take off and propel him into the mainstream when I first heard it. Shame it's fizzled out already (although to be expected with no airplay).

April 7, 20188 yr 'Tongue' is terrible. I am yet to be won over by MNEK as an artist :( At this point I think he should just stick to writing and producing songs for other artists and appearing as a featured artist.

Tongue is a mess but there’s a good song in there somewhere. I find MNEK such an odd artist cos he consistently writes brilliant songs for other artists, and seems to be so well liked and respected within the industry, but why does he keep all the worst songs for himself? The difference in quality between the likes of Tongue and Touch is unbelievable. Also if ever he features on a song it’s usually a banger.
April 7, 20188 yr Never Forget You remains my favourite Zara song to date. Ready For Your Love and Blinded By Your Grace are my favourite Gorgon City & Stormzy singles too. Even in the last year he’s been involved in Breathe, IDGAF, Instruction, BBYG, Rude Love, My Love 4 U, You Don’t Know Me and Touch yet I find Tongue just a bit crap. He has a lot of great potential but yet to release anything near as good as what he’s given to other artists
April 7, 20188 yr Don't forget, this is the same artist who not long ago did the most atrocious cover version of 'Don't Stop Me Now'. 'Tongue' is such a step up.

April 12, 20188 yr M-22 feat. Medina - First Time [C-C] Hopefully this will eventually make its way to A-list, as it is quite a lovely tune despite the generic pitched vocal drop and can be this year's 'Places' by Martin Solveig and Ina Wroldsen, which it reminds me of in terms of style.
