I suppose they have to be consistent like they were with Linkin Park/Cranberries. Although don't get me wrong an Avicii-filled Chart would be incredible.

I think the Ariana single is a solid 8/10, but I think people are doing way too much on some of the forums, calling it single of the year etc. I mean I can think of 4 Ariana singles that are better than this one.

She's a lot like how Justin Bieber used to be. When he was younger he had an absolutely massive profile, but didn't do so well in the charts. When Ariana reaches adulthood I think she will see a lot of success.
