May 6, 20187 yr I feel like Pour It Up would in 2018 probably chart better than Stay! re Lukas Graham I had no idea that wasn't a one hit wonder
May 6, 20187 yr Thought Calvin was the obvious answer with Feels And its follow up totally flopping, Faking it, i think it was
May 6, 20187 yr Author 4. Name a regular Buzzjack Charts contributor who joined the site after the start of 2017 8MPbR6Cbwi4 28: Dexton – Pete – Yorkie3 - gavindeejay - SM351 – vibe – Chez – FleetSeb – Jahq – Bjork – HarryEzra – danG – CianS – Dexton – Jafet – Zárate - 777666jason – Theo - TS0301 – Jade – Dobbo – Addy – Riser - Suedehead2 – Dannyboy – LewisGT – Midge – Ultra – Jupiter – WhoOdyssey 2: WhoOdyssey – paulgilb – Mack – Bré 0: Sergejdordij98 - Sarah 0: Platinum – SamJudd Joseph – cqmerqn Yeah, well Dexton basically nominating himself as the answer scuppered this one :P one of the few Australian posters here, he’s really nice (when he’s not ruining Family Fortunes questions), and, if I remember correctly, is a Justin Timberlake fan. The only other point scorer is the lovely WhoOdyssey, who I’m also warming to. Personal Charts regular Sergej gets a zero, alongside platinum (who?).
May 6, 20187 yr Yay! Dexton stuck in my head, because I created a Lounge thread not too long ago called 'How has BuzzJack changed since you joined?' and I think he was the only person in the thread who said they had joined in 2017  I did consider WhoOdyssey as well though so yay for sticking with my gut.
May 6, 20187 yr Sorry to be a nag but you don't seem to have put my answer in the results for question 2 Oh crap just seen my inbox Edited May 6, 20187 yr by 777666jason
May 6, 20187 yr Kinda forgot we had a Dua Lipa forum ngl. The Saturdays are still my first thought for an artist forum but I guess that's a little old skool these days ~ For #3 I took the highest artist in the current iTunes chart that applies to, I realise now that when this thread opened Jess Glynne's song hadn't been released yet so that was probably a stupid move :P (not like I missed out on many points anyway). I guess I might as well boycott the rest of these results after forgetting about Dexton though. I forgot he joined so recently oops (may have read the question as 'since 2018' instead of 'since 2017')
May 6, 20187 yr Thought Calvin was the obvious answer with Feels And its follow up totally flopping, Faking it, i think it was 'Faking It' charted lower than #75. (Calvin Harris is still a correct answer because of 'The Girls' / 'Merrymaking At My Place' though).
May 6, 20187 yr Author Sorry to be a nag but you don't seem to have put my answer in the results for question 2 Oh crap just seen my inbox I thought I'd counted all the points up oops, I must have miscounted for that one! But like you've seen, you needed a song title :D
May 6, 20187 yr I thought I'd counted all the points up oops, I must have miscounted for that one! But like you've seen, you needed a song title :D Yeah sorry still getting used to PM I only sent 3 messages that way on here
May 6, 20187 yr Author 5. Name a song which was in the Top 10 on its 20th week in the charts JGwWNGJdvx8 11: Ed Sheeran – Shape of You – Yorkie3 – Jahq – Bjork - Dexton – Zárate - 777666jason – Theo – Dobbo – Riser – Bré – SamJudd – WhoOdyssey 10: Drake – One Dance – Pete – Chez – paulgilb – FleetSeb – HarryEzra – danG – CianS – Jade - Suedehead2 – LewisGT – Midge 3: Pharrell Williams – Happy – Jafet - TS0301 – Addy - Ultra 0: Portugal. The Man - Feel It Still – gavindeejay 0: Ed Sheeran – Thinking Out Loud - SM351 0: Bryan Adams – Everything I Do (I Do It For You) – vibe 0: Nickelback – Rockstar – Mack 0: Celine Dion - Think Twice – Dannyboy 0: Ed Sheeran – Perfect – Jupiter 0: Adele – Hello – Sarah Honey G – The Honey G Show – cqmerqn So the two big point-scorers here were both long-running #1s which we were all sick to death of. Drake’s One Dance kept a ton of good songs off the top for the 15 weeks it was there – Ed only kept his own two songs off the top but is more annoyingly still in the Top 100. Pharell’s long-running ‘Happy’ also picks up a couple of points, and we get another barrage of zeroes.
May 6, 20187 yr I nearly said 'Feel It Still' but then looked it up and found its 20th week on the chart was still before it went top 10  yay for finally not flopping xo
May 6, 20187 yr Omg I initially put 'Happy' after the recent 'biggest hit of the decade' thread but then switched to 'One Dance', after thinking that people might flock to a song that spent lots of weeks at #1. Thought I'd go recent but completely forgot about 'Shape Of You's mammoth run  ah well, only 1 point in it! Honey G deffo deserved 20 weeks top 10 minimum tbh
May 6, 20187 yr Unfortunately Polyhex, which I'd usually use for chart runs, was down when I was answering that last question so I had to guess!
May 6, 20187 yr Author 6. Name a song which spent at least 3 consecutive weeks in the same position (outside the Top 10) zDo0H8Fm7d0 19: Bebe Rexha – Meant to Be – Pete – Yorkie3 – paulgilb – Bjork – danG – CianS – Dexton – Zárate - 777666jason – Jade – Dobbo – Addy – Riser - Suedehead2 – Dannyboy – LewisGT – Ultra – Jupiter – WhoOdyssey – Sarah 4: Idina Menzel – Let It Go – gavindeejay - SM351 – Jahq – HarryEzra - Jafet 0: Ed Sheeran – Thinking Out Loud – vibe 0: Steps – 5,6,7,8 – Chez 0: Kungs – This Girl – FleetSeb 0: Adele – Set Fire to the Rain 0: Zac Efron & Zendaya – Rewrite the Stars – Theo 0: Future – Mask Off - TS0301 0: Hugh Jackman et al. – The Greatest Show – Bré 0: Rihanna – Te Amo – SamJudd 0: Vanessa Carlton – A Thousand Miles - Midge PeteFromLeeds – cqmerqn Okay so I will admit I came up with this question before Bebe spent three agonising (or fortunate, depending on your opinion of the song) weeks at #11. The only other point scorer is Frozen classic Let It Go, which did the same at #21. Everything else gets a big fat zero, including both Greatest Showman tracks and Future’s Mask Off, all of which I think would have got more points without Bebe.
May 6, 20187 yr 'Meant To Be' instantly came into my head due to the recency factor and a memorable near-miss, as it's terrible so I've been cheering on its #11 stalling :kink: I actually wasn't sure if its consecutive stall at #11 was 2 or 3 weeks, so I was very glad when the latter option was indeed the case when looking it up.
May 6, 20187 yr Author 7. Name a Top 40 single which references the Lord xpVfcZ0ZcFM 12: Drake – God’s Plan – Yorkie3 – gavindeejay - SM351 – Chez – Bjork – Jafet – Zárate - 777666jason – Theo – Jade - Suedehead2 – SamJudd – Ultra 5: Stormzy – Blinded By Your Grace – Pete – FleetSeb – danG – Riser – LewisGT - WhoOdyssey 5: George Harrison – My Sweet Lord – paulgilb – CianS – Dobbo – Addy – Dannyboy – Midge 1: Oasis – Lord Don’t Slow Me Down – Mack - TS0301 1: The Beach Boys – God Only Knows – Bré – Jupiter 0: Madonna – Like a Prayer – vibe 0: Justin Bieber – Beauty and a Beat – Jahq 0: P!nk – God Is a DJ – HarryEzra 0: Calvin Harris & HAIM – Pray to God 0: Various - Hallelujah - Sarah Louisa Johnson – Best Behaviour – cqmerqn GAHD’S PLAHN. Now I deliberately said ‘Lord’ instead of ‘God’ so everyone didn’t put Drake, and it has worked to an extent, even though he is the most guessed artist. Stormzy’s amazing worship track is the joint second most guessed track, alongside a George Harrison track I’d never heard of. Oasis and the Beach Boys get a point apiece, and once again we have zeroes a plenty, including Jahq trying to make some joke about Justin Bieber being the Lord.
