May 6, 20187 yr Lmao the first song to come into my head was actually Joan Osborne - 'One Of Us' but I knew no-one would put that so I had to think a lil harder. Then voila, Drake popped into my head. Yay, this has gone very well on the whole so far. Can't believe I completely forgot about Stormzy :o
May 6, 20187 yr Doing well even with screw up 5 top answers so far Edited May 6, 20187 yr by 777666jason
May 6, 20187 yr damn I thought more people would go for Stormzy as that track says 'lord' a lot. I did think of 'God's Plan' also but the question said 'lord' not 'god'. you've seriously never heard 'My Sweet Lord'? you'd probably like it.
May 6, 20187 yr Kinda proud to have not thought of Bebe Rexha ngl. Not so much to have not thought of 'God's Plan', that just didn't come to mind at all somehow. I did these answers in a bit of a rush last night, maybe should have spent a bit more time thinking about some of these
May 6, 20187 yr Honestly couldnt think of ANY recent songs with God or Lord in the title (my first and unshakeable though was actually Green Light!), even God's Plan still in my head doesn't quite fit the bill. Still feel like half these Drake songs, though long runners, are a little forgettable.
May 6, 20187 yr GENUINELY surprised at Sales getting null points! I put it because it was so easy to type, and I assumed many ppl would do the same.
May 6, 20187 yr Author 8.Name an artist who has achieved a #1 in the Albums chart but is yet to have a Top 40 single WBtVjjLtEY8 9: Blossoms – gavindeejay – Bjork – HarryEzra – Dexton – Jade – Riser - Suedehead2 – LewisGT – Bré – WhoOdyssey 6: Ward Thomas – paulgilb – FleetSeb – CianS - 777666jason - TS0301 – Midge – Jupiter 4: Royal Blood – Chez – danG – Theo – Dobbo - SamJudd 2: The National – Pete – Jahq - Ultra 0: Catfish & the Bottlemen – Yorkie3 0: Caro Emerald - SM351 0: James Horner – vibe 0: Michael Ball & Alfie Boe – Jafet 0: Pete Tong – Zárate 0: Il Divo – Mack 0: Alfie Boe – Addy 0: Janet Jackson – Dannyboy 0: No Answer - Sarah Beyoncé – cqmerqn Another mixed bag here! Blossoms is the highest scorer here, spending a surprising 2 weeks at #1 with their last album before plummeting down the charts. They have scored themselves three Top 100 hits to date though, with 2 entering this week. Second is Ward Thomas, a surprising Albums #1 who I didn’t go for as I thought they would be too obscure. Royal Blood pick up a couple of points, as do The National (who I believe are the most recent additions to this group). Quite a few zeroes once again (sorry, I couldn’t really combine Alfie Boe with Ball & Boe :( )
May 6, 20187 yr Yessss!! It was between Blossoms and Ward Thomas for me but the former clinched it due to their new album putting them back in the minds of the masses. Woop. I have 7/8 top answers so far I believe :o I'm definitely coming to flop with question 10 though I think
May 6, 20187 yr Omg Royal Blood crossed my mind but I ruled them out because I wrongly thought 'Figure It Out' was a top 40 hit :o well I never!
May 6, 20187 yr I didn't consider Meant To Be and only went for Let It Go THIS IS WHAT I GET FOR GOING FOR IDINA MENZEL :/
May 6, 20187 yr Author 9. In joint first, however, is the Kaisers’ Ruby (ARUBERUBERUBERUBEHH!), and close behind is Corinne Bailey Rae’s Put Your Records on (GUHRRL, PUT YOW RECORDS OWHHN) and I Predict a Riot (IPREDICT ORIOT!) which I associate with the Kaisers much more than Ruby, interestingly enough. You Want Me picks up a point (OKAY DEN WATCH WHAT I SAY DEN) , as does Wannabe – and I’m too out of breath to do that one.
May 6, 20187 yr Ooh I didn't envisage Mel B as a (joint) top answer here at all for some reason. Yay! Tom Zanetti :cheeseblock:
May 6, 20187 yr Mel B was my first thought for that one Wasn't sure if Kaiser Chiefs would fit as a 'someone' so didn't risk it :o
