Shocked at Slow.

Her opus.

Quite! It deserved to be 25 places higher -_- those mesmerising synths and vocals are everything.

I guess I'm rooting for 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' to go all the way now (not that I thought 'Slow' would, but yeah, we have confirmation for that now)

On A Night Like This and Confide In Me are always number 1 contenders in countdowns such like this.

There are many other songs i would like to see number 1 or top 3 ahead of them.

It would be wonderful if All The Lovers can reach Top 3.

Caution, caution, amber lights
Still can't get off my mind

25. Stop Me From Falling // 8 (4.5: Liam // 10: Red Blooded Man, gooddelta, Regina, Nick Jonas)
24. Turn It Into Love // 8.03 (3: Stuart25 // 11: Hide&Seek)
23. Got to Be Certain // 8.09 (5: blacksquare // 10: SamJudd, Josh!, Qween, pippa, Hide&Seek)
22. Hand On Your Heart // 8.11 (4: Stuart25 // 10: Sam Judd, Regina, Josh!, davidas, Jay, Michael Andrew, Hide&Seek)
21. Breathe // 8.12 (5.5: Theo // 10: Feel the Fever, Qween, pippa, Michael Andrew, Davidson)

The latest Kylie single as of the time of results, 'Stop Me From Falling' is a clap-along, country-twanged pop anthem, yet deals with anxieties of falling for someone. For its single release, it was given a Latin makeover with Cuban duo Gente de Zona featuring. It brings a new energy to the song, capitalising on the recent Latin-inspired trend in popular music but in a way that feels authentic. The video, to me, is probably her best since 'All the Lovers'.

Something of a hidden gem, 'Turn It Into Love' was released as the final single from Kylie's debut album in Japan only. It became a huge #1 for her there, whilst the UK were, ahem, blessed with a cover by fellow SAW act Hazell Dean. Kylie's version is high energy, glittery pop magic, with vocals pushed to the high heavens but sounding glorious because of it and epitomises the recurring theme in Kylie's music of turning heartache into something positive.

Following the success of 'I Should Be So Lucky', SAW continued to work with Kylie for her debut album and 'Got to Be Certain' was chosen as the second worldwide single. Whilst 'Lucky' depicted Kylie as the hopeless romantic, 'Got to Be Certain' saw Kylie be more mature and realistic with her attitude to love. The music itself however remains delightfully cheerful and catchy.

Work on Kylie's second album began early in 1989 after a mammoth debut year, with the lead single 'Hand On Your Heart' released in the Spring. It's another perfectly crafted pop song with a notably confident Kylie demanding her lover be honest with her. Issues regarding cassettes and chart eligibility prevented Kylie from becoming the first female to enter at #1 in the UK, but thankfully the song did make its way to becoming her third chart topper.

Placing as the top single from Impossible Princess, 'Breathe' just misses out on a Top 20 placing. A song of self-analysis and meditation, its lyrics are reflected by the steady-paced rhythm and Kylie's soothing vocal. Although not credited, 'Breathe' was one of three tracks on the album that was co-produced by Kylie herself.

'Got To Be Certain' is a song I have such huge affection for from the early segment of her career.

I'm quite impressed 'Stop Me From Falling' can be that high already.

Turn It Into Love i expected a Top 20 at lowest finish as it is generally popular with the fans.

Got To Be Certain is a true gem and as i have outlined before it is good in the last few years that Kylie has given it some attention.

Breathe is the most disappointing result from those songs as it deserves at least 15 places higher on the countdown.

Breathe is one of those songs that only a few people seem to really like snd others thinks it's OK or they have forgotten about it.
Stop Me From Falling - Glad that this has done so well, its really grown more and more on me over the last couple of months, especially the Latin remix with Gente de Zona which really makes the song pop and gives that extra special something and yet still manages to keep that country pop vibe and not totally change too much from its original version which is also great, but the newer mix really makes the song even better. Plus I've really enjoyed Kylie's comeback material from this year with this, 'Dancing' and the amazing 'Golden' album which already ranks in my top 5 fave Kylie albums.

Turn It Into Love - Actually surprised this has done so well, I know its always been a fan favourite, but getting this high...I mean WOW. A definite standout on her debut album with its fantastic big dramatic pop production and beautiful melody which really soars throughout. I think that this should have been given a proper release instead of 'It's No Secret', especially for the American market and think that it could have stood a much better chance. Japan was lucky to get this as a single, as the rest of us had to make do with that awful Hazel Dean version which sounds more like a B-Side and the fact that it managed to peak at #21 on the UK charts is again surprising, must have been a slow week.

Got To Be Certain - Another classic slice of early PWL Kylie era, a perfect follow up to the mammoth 'I Should Be So Lucky' and really kept her momentum going. Its the type of song that always puts a smile on your face with its upbeat and cheerful production and catchy hooks which instantly makes this a memorable moment in Kylie's early days.

Hand On Your Heart - Really hoped that this would have managed a top 20 position on here. One of my personal faves from Kylie's back catalog and glad this has ranked the highest from the 'Enjoy Yourself' era. Another slice of bright and fun pop music which Kylie has nailed perfectly through the years and a well earned UK chart topper. Definitely one of her strongest singles of her career.

Breathe - This has seemed to have really grow in popularity over the last couple of years, hell in the last rate this only managed a #40 position, and now 4 years later it's just outside the top 20, which is a good result and well deserved. A definite standout moment on 'Impossible Princess' and showed Kylie's sound had progressed further and delving into more experimental territory and plus its a perfect example of Kylie's range and variety of different sounds that she has in her discography.

Now that we down to the final 20 will the results still be in groups or single entries. Anyway I predict that 'Red Blooded Woman', 'Step Back In Time' and maybe 'Put Yourself In My Place' will drop out in the next batch.
Red blooded woman needs to go next. Turn it into love should have been a fifth single as it would gave easily gone top 10, hazel dean done a terrible cover but still managed number 21 which shows the huge potential it could have had for kylie.

You'll never get to heaven if you're scared of getting high

20. Red Blooded Woman // 8.15 (4: Monzo, Hide&Seek // 10: Regina, Liam, Stuart25, Nick F1, Davidson, liamk97, Jade, Theo)

Second single from Body Language, 'Red Blooded Woman' bridges the gap between the album's electropop first half and its R&B/hip-hop inspired second half. Sexy and confident, the song sees Kylie defy her instincts and embrace the thrill of a risky romance. It's backed by a shimmering beat reminiscent of 'Survivor' or 'Cry Me a River', making it an obvious choice of song to push to American audiences to capitalise on the success of Fever. Although such expectations didn't come through, 'Red Blooded Woman' was a hit across Europe and Australia and seemed to get fans that were previously undecided on the album back on board with the era.

I can't take this situation
It's making me feel so blue

19. Put Yourself in My Place // 8.18 (3: Theo // 10: Red Blooded Man, Regina, Qween, davidas, Tawdry Hepburn, Jay, Davidson, Hide&Seek)

'Put Yourself in My Place' was the sublime second single to Kylie's evolutionary first album with DeCon Records. Its dreamy, trip-hop inspired melody is the perfect backdrop to Kylie's rich vocals that show a maturity and power not found in previous ballads. Kylie deals with the heartache of losing a partner to another person and reminds him that he'll one day realise what he lost when he finds himself in the same position. The music video is sensual and cinematic, a tribute to Jane Fonda in Barbarella and earned Kylie a win for Best Video at the 1995 ARIA Music Awards.

Disappointed to see Red Blooded Woman in the top 20 ahead of many greater songs.

I would have also welcome Breathe at the least swapping places with both Red Blooded Woman and Put Yourself In My Place which is the best song from the KM94 era.

'Red Blooded Woman' has aged really, really badly for me. It's probably one of my least favourite singles of hers now, very nice video though.

'Put Yourself In My Place' however...

‘Put Yourself in My Place’ has forever been one of my favourite Kylie songs - I remember at the time though after the epic unexpected return with CIM that PYIMP felt like a step backwards.

I was never a huge fan of red blooded woman but I agree it has aged baday, it was a very of the now type of single.

No at the lack of love for 'Red Blooded Woman' being expressed. :( It's my favourite from Body Language. I am quite surprised it made the Top 20 though.
Red Blooded Woman - Surprised to see this so high, it took me a while to get into this and used to prefer 'Secret (Take You Home)' to be the 2nd single from 'Body Language', and plus I've always liked 'Slow' better. However the more I listened to it, the more I started to like it, the song is really good with some really solid production and does show another side of the album, even if it does feel Americanized. The music video's pretty awesome though.

Put Yourself In My Place - Definitely one of Kylie's best sung vocals of her career, a really beautiful number that incorporates both pop and trip hop into something magnificent. A fantastic and perfect follow up to the equally brilliant 'Confide In Me'. Truly stunning that's all I have to say.
Glad to see Red Blooded Woman this high and yes it hasn't aged well for me. The video is visually impressive. I'd always remember trying to replicate the ladder dance.

I would have given high points to RBW and PYIMP

2 of her best tracks for me a casual fan .

How did PYIMP amiss the top 10 ?

I love "Red Blooded Woman"! I've never actually heard the 'Body Language' album (or many Kylie albums ) but the run of singles from it are all excellent and possibly my favourite from any of her albums! :o Definitely deserves to be top 20 here.

It going number 11 was frustrating as it deserved top 10, as others said many people felt it was a step back after confide in me. While I'm not a confide in me fan it did stand out and it was an expected song ftom kylie that had people talking.
