Terrible from Cardiff - very short termism thinking imo. Can see future deals negotiating with Cardiff getting very messy...

If it wasn't for Cardiff Emiliano Sala would still be alive today so if it's true that they are trying to claim back the transfer fee then that is absolutely disgraceful.
It a poor decision by the club but I think it's harsh to suggest that Cardiff are the reason why he died.

Ole Gunnar Solskajer has been confirmed as the permanent Man United.manager.

What do you make of Ole getting the job permanently?

Was always going to be him - strange day to appoint him though. Be interested to see how they perform for the rest of the season now.

Everyone out here talking about my manager getting the financial backing he needs after the wonderful performances in recent months. I hope Man Utd and Ed Woodward are taking notes. We not messing about next season.

Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has blocked the wi-fi at team hotels to prevent his squad from playing "addictive" video games. Interesting.

Not surprised that Solskjaer has been appointed, it was a question of when not if. As to the timing, I suppose Solskjaer has had more time to discuss contract terms during the international break.

I don't think the issue is Manchester United manager's have never not been backed. I think the issue often is Man Utd fall for the 'Galaticos' trap. Be very interested to see what they do in the summer and see whether they fall for the same traps as they have done for the past 5 years.

I am very pleased that Ole has become the permanent manager, it is not a surprise in the slightest but it is still very welcome news! We should definitely at least do better in the Premier League next season compared to this season and it will personally for me make the beginning of next season a lot more exciting than the same stage of the season 12 months earlier.

Hopefully this news will give the players a much needed boost after recent results and it would be nice to see a goal fest against Watford on Saturday so maybe this news will inspire the players.

Huddersfield become only the second team ever to be relegated from the Prem before April Fool's Day (after Derby in 08). Fulham are effectively down as well as they need to win all 6, overturn at least a 20 goal difference & hope one of the 3 teams currently on 33 points loses all their games.

With Cardiff's games in hand against Chelsea & City, think we can safely say they're out of the picture now too. Very unspectacular relegation dogfight this season!

Solskjaer’s appointment has been inevitable for some time. I wonder if they were waiting for a slight dip in form before making the announcement, partly to test the reaction of supporters and also to see how Solskjaer himself responds.

Was at the game against Watford and we were quite fortunate to win the game. Watford had a lot of the possession, particularly in the 1st half and Doucouré who in my opinion was the best player on the pitch for both sides really gave us a headache throughout the game. Deulofeu made a lot of good runs during the match as well, Phil Jones was probably our best player and Chris Smalling had quite a decent game keeping Troy Deeney under his control. A win is a win though and after losing consecutive matches recently it's good to be back to winning ways.

I'm really surprised at how early Huddersfield's relegation has been confirmed. Not even Aston Villa or Sunderland got relegated in March! Their relegation was always a matter of time though and I am certainly not going to miss them.

I hate Cardiff but how is Sala's death their fault? Nothing to do with pilot error or mechanical failure then...

Cardiff should 100% be paying the money. Pure and simple. I honestly hope they get relegated now.
There’s more important things than money. The right thing to do imo would have been to approach Nates about putting the £15m into a trust for his family

I'll admit that my comment was made in the heat of the moment but the cold hard fact is that if Emiliano Sala stayed with Nantes instead of joining Cardiff then he wouldn't have been on that flight and he would still be alive now. So paying Nantes the transfer fee that they are owed is something that Cardiff need to do with no excuses.

Exactly.

It's good to see Cardiff getting a lot of negative publicity over this and I can't understand why their owner would think they wouldn't have some sort of backlash. If they came out and made an announcement / agreement with Nantes that the money would go to his family etc then that would be a lot of positive PR but I think a lot of damage has been done and even Cardiff fans are disappointed by their actions.

Unbelieveable! To think the likelihood is (probably Liverpool :() 2nd place will end up with 93/94 points and not win the title, it's mindboggling.

Here's hoping Spurs don't roll over when they play City in the league! Top 4 unbelieveably wide open as well, that will go down to the last game of the season too.
