I wasn't ever expecting any fireworks from this entry (I, ironically, entered it to show off the vocal skills of the lead singer who I've become a fan of lately) but I do feel like that Plug session did my song a bit of a disservice.

 

Everything was going standardly with a 4-0 and as people do at that point in the Plug session, they were talking about something else and not really talking about the entry, which I don't mind, that's fair enough after 30+ songs. There's one voice crack at the climax of the song that reminded everyone it was on and immediately after that people hit the meh button. Which is a shame as it's a really good rock song (with cool lyrics) that moment aside.

 

call me crazy but I think a song should be judged on its full length and not one single moment

i know in my case i wasn't particularly liking it up to that point either but that pushed it into meh territory (which i tend to avoid)

I'm sure that's the case for some people if it's not your sort of thing and that's fair. It's just the way it all came flooding in at that exact point felt QUITE SHIT really.

Voted! Amazing quality spin-off, I rated 14 songs 9/10 or above, in a regular contest I very rarely achieve anything close to that.

 

Granted many of these weren't discoveries but there were plenty of good finds here too.

Sorry I've not updated the front post with the votes I've got, I usually add names there once I've input them to my spreadsheet but I've not had a chance to even do that yet, hence why I've not upsated the list :kink: I'm working tomorrow but I'm hoping to get everything sorted out tomorrow night or it'll need to wait until Monday (results will still go ahead then ofc too)

Voted! Generally a great spin-off, I mean there's a few I wouldn't want to listen to again, but I still appreciated the diversity of it all and was very fitting for Pride. My top 2 were both excellent discoveries too!

Voted!!! This spin off was so awesome. Would expect no less from the LGBT community!
