June 26, 20187 yr I'm not surprised in the slightest that Bebe is flopping Edited June 26, 20187 yr by smidsy101
June 27, 20187 yr Any sales for Neon Nights? Yes, it has done the current state pension age for men in the UK more than (44) X 4 Maths.
June 27, 20187 yr the anti-Drake at @1 Incredible @1 Far from alt indie but at least a guy that plays guitar at @1 Also nice to see something that appeals to adults at @1 Instead of the usual music aimed at little girls age 7-12 Like the bark-bark-quack-quack songs THIS!! Drake is the epitome of talentless tuneless noise CRAP
June 27, 20187 yr LOL at the TGS Soundtrack, it just keeps on selling doesn't it? At least there will be a million selling album this year. Could it do 1.5 Million by December? It makes me wonder, how well other soundtracks would have done on the album charts had they been counted towards the artist charts, thinking Mamma Mia and Frozen. I expect Mamma Mia 2 soundtrack will sell bucketloads and the two biggest albums of the year will both be soundtracks

(Or the other way around I can't remember exactly) In all honesty, I can't see the MM2 soundtrack doing as well as TGS or the first soundtrack tbh. They used all the best ABBA songs in the first movie pretty much lol.

I posted a few weeks ago that had Mamma Mia been eligible for the main albums chart it would have been number 1 for 7 weeks http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...p;#entry6013242

I didn't follow that thread much after Dan's post (which is what I remembered) so missed your post. But yeahhh, I can't see the new one having the same effect as TGS tbh. It'll have a bigger first few weeks I'd imagine, but I can see it tailing off fairly quickly tbh. But I guess it just depends on what word of mouth is like for the movie. Word of mouth is a HUGE factor for musicals it seems.
June 27, 20187 yr Yes, it has done the current state pension age for men in the UK more than (44) X 4 Maths. So you only need 1024 copies to make top 40 by Tuesday's update so probably won't even need 1.5k sales in a full week interesting
June 27, 20187 yr Hard to call just yet. It will be a close call for Panic at The Disco to achieve their first number 1. I am tired of the Greatest Showman now, don’t mind it staying in the Top 10 but not number 1.
June 27, 20187 yr We'll see if 'Now That's What I Call Music 100' is the biggest UK Seller in that 'series', for a very long time. There is a big hype about it. However, the Track List still hasn't been revealed and the Album is released on Friday 20th July. It will probably outsell most of the UK Artist Albums in 2018 However, it is what happens with the No.1 Position in the Artist Chart that gains the most interest of 'Chart Watchers'. June 27, 20187 yr Yes grease 2 flopped but high school musical 2 didn't so not all musical sequels flop and the album isn't even released till Friday 13th yes speculate but isn't this the wrong thread its clearly not going the debut Friday  isn't there already a thread though
June 27, 20187 yr To be fair Grease 2 flopped because it was an all round terrible movie, I wouldn’t say that had anything to do with it being a musical sequel
June 27, 20187 yr I only liked 2 Songs in 'Grease 2'. None of the Songs in it were Hit Singles. The 1st 'Grease' had loads of Hit Singles in it, of course. Both 'Mamma Mia!' Films have ABBA Hits in them. I expect that 'Now 100' will outsell the 'Mamma Mia! 2' Soundtrack, on a Week by Week basis. We'll see. It is of no consequence, as the 'Now 100' Album will not be in the Artist Chart - so it will not affect what is at No.1 in that Chart... Edited June 27, 20187 yr by zeus555

June 27, 20187 yr Ugh will X potentially make top 4 then? He’s not falling that fast in streaming and seems to be catching up in updates
June 27, 20187 yr Some really interesting flops there, bad luck for Cheat Codes/LM and Jax Jones! Bebe flopping was expected, is she even a name in the UK?
June 27, 20187 yr Is Jax flopping? its doing better than Instruction did when that was released... and Breathe too as neither were top 40 on the first set of updates
