May 7, 20196 yr Author What a night! Certainly a rollercoaster this year after lastnyt and now overturning that deficit, some mentality in our team. That quick corner from TAA for Origis second was unreal!!! I'd probably rather Ajax in the final not because they would be easier to beat but because it would be harder to take against a Premiership team even though I like Spurs/The Potch and have a lot of respect for what he's achieved there.

Trent was incredible in general tonight. Certainly that corner will be talked about for years to come, makes up the horrific Iago Aspas corner I witnessed in 2014 :D Whoever we play in the final we will be the big favourites. On paper we're stronger than both sides, but this is a cup competition. Certainly one thing we have to our advantage is the experience of last year.
May 7, 20196 yr Yeh let's hope we get the luck this year and bring home No6! Well we're Luckypool apparently, so here's hoping we finally get some worldie 30 yard strike go in for us or an unjust descision to make up for the past couple of years!
May 8, 20196 yr I told you something just felt...special about this year's Champions League. Just another amazing result in a year full of them.
May 8, 20196 yr I told you something just felt...special about this year's Champions League. Just another amazing result in a year full of them. Had some amazing results so far this year. I think it’s just showing the end of the dominance of the Spanish teams. Amazing run though when you consider Barcelona or Madrid have been in the finals for the past 6 years. Must have been a great night last night, Houdini is remarkably quiet :P
May 8, 20196 yr Must have been a great night last night, Houdini is remarkably quiet :P He seems to be only posting in the Championship thread now :P
May 8, 20196 yr The football that Ajax are playing at the moment is scintillating! Ominous signs for the rest of Europe and the crazy thing is that they are so young, their captain is only 19! If they are able to keep their squad together we could be seeing a potentially legendary side here.
May 8, 20196 yr He seems to be only posting in the Championship thread now :P Probably doing his research ready as the Championship is the same level for Manchester United at the moment. The football that Ajax are playing at the moment is scintillating! Ominous signs for the rest of Europe and the crazy thing is that they are so young, their captain is only 19! If they are able to keep their squad together we could be seeing a potentially legendary side here. The problem is de Jong is already gone and de Light won't be too far behind. This side as good as it is, they're going to end up like Monaco from a few years ago. You've too many big clubs (Madrid, Barcelona, Man Utd, Bayern, PSG - then that's without the likes of Juventus, Liverpool and City sniffing around) who have gaping holes in their first XI. Thought they might keep hold of the likes of de Beek and Nevres, but if they win the whole thing I think the team will just get decimated.
May 8, 20196 yr Loving the English domination in European competition at the moment (although I wish it wasn't Liverpool). Champions League - Coming Home Europa League - Coming Home Nations League - Coming Home
May 8, 20196 yr The Champions League trophy is guaranteed to be coming to England! :o f***ing hell, imagine the scenes amongst Arsenal fans if Tottenham win the Champions League before they do! :o
May 8, 20196 yr Best CL season of all time, this won't ever be topped. Ever. (Let's hope Spurs win it tho :P) Also it's been the season of bottlers - Madrid, PSG, Barca, Ajax  love it love it love it
May 8, 20196 yr That was a nail biter looks like 2 English clubs in the final after tomorrow in the Europa League
May 8, 20196 yr Wow incredible, that is why you love football! Amazing. I would much rather have played Ajax in the final because I think we would have beaten them comfortably.. Spurs less so! Hopefully it will be a great game nethertheless, it's a cup final so anything can happen. Really good advert for the Premier League regardless.
May 8, 20196 yr And can we just remember that Spurs were something like 12 minutes from being eliminated in the FOURTH GAME OF THE GROUP STAGE!!!!!
