GET IN THERE!!!!! UNITED ARE OFFICIALLY BACK.

This continues to prove that PSG are still overrated as f*** and are the biggest bottlers in Europe :w00t:

Amazing. :cheer:

All the favourites have looked terrible this season in the Champions League. Madrid & PSG knocked out and Juve were poor against Atletico and I can’t see them turning it around.

Anyone could win this season. Barca, City & whoever wins the Bayern/Liverpool game have to be favourites.

You can always tell when Man United have lost a match by the increase in activity here compared to normal ;)

PSG were the better team and deserved to win but like others have said the referee was really poor tonight, Kimpembe should have been sent off before he even had the chance to score their opener and it looked like the ref was reluctant to book PSG's players but didn't hesitate to book ours! It's gonna be very hard to progress to the next round but I have some comfort that PSG will ultimately bottle it in Europe again like they always do.

This result doesn't undo the good work Ole has done so far and for me he would still be the right man to be in charge next season.

And bottle it they have! :D

This is a wonderful result for all United fans, I had doubts that we'd get through before tonight but the players never stop believing and Lukaku scored 2 goals for the 3rd consecutive match. People will moan about the VAR controversy but I couldn't care less, all that matters to me is that we're through to the Quarter finals.

It would take something special albeit quite unlikely that Man United will come back and beat PSG in their match.

Very glad to be proved wrong there.

Great result for Man United. The Qatar billions for PSG still not buying their way to the Champions League.

#Bottlers

Fair play to united I would rather them be out but if anyone would be out then I'm happy it's PSG because of the type of club they are. It wouldn't surprise me if United went all the way now as they are doing similar to Liverpool last season in terms of the way yous are playing and setting up to be challengers for the title next year, but we will see.

Fair play to Man Utd, beating PSG in Paris is some result. Unfortunately I'm getting shades of Chelsea 2012 - absolutely outclassed but always find some luck to get through! PSG were absolutely awful, couldn't even do basic things right.

Gotta say though that penalty decision was an absolute joke and highlights how bad VAR can be. Nobody on the pitch claimed it was a penalty, if you put any shandball in slow motion they all look deliberate.

It was justice that Kimpembe who should have been sent off in the 1st leg before he scored was the player who gave away the penalty tonight. PSG always find new spectacular ways to mess up, that's why I had full confidence that they were not going to win the tournament this season.

They're nothing like we were in the Champions League last year!!! We steamrollered teams!!!!

Like any old cup competition it's all about luck of the draw most of the time. City have gotta be tip top favourites. Hopefully 2 of the English teams get drawn together.

To be honest when Mpabbe fell over when he was 1 on 1 you just knew it wasn't PSG's day today.

Porto have just gone through with a VAR penalty decision too.

Great Champions League knock-outs this season already.

Weeks like this show even more how sad it is that the Champions League has been binned off to BT Sport. United's match would have been shown on terrestrial TV live and comprehensive highlights, post match interviews and analysis of all the other matches including Real Madrid's elimination would have also been shown tonight rather than the rushed YouTube clips that we get now.

City United game would be immense!

City United game would be immense!

The only problem is that that tie is now sandwhiched between the United vs City league game. The one and only time I ever want Man Utd to win a match :D

Sod's law Liverpool get knocked out next week against Bayern! Means regardless 3 of the 4 teams who got to the semi-finals last year will be out..

It's true like I don't even watch it at all now because I have sky sports - only ever see the odd goal on the news. Think I'm gonna get a rte Aeriel on my house so I get it through normal tv as my sky cuts it out. Their programme starts at 7 and finishes at 11 with full highlights of other games following the live game and the punditry is much more cut throat rather than the plastic English tv!

Yeh can see us getting knocked out and as you say united could easily gain momentum from this result the way Cup competitons work!

BT Sport somehow managed to condense Real Madrid Vs Ajax to just 2:35 mins on YouTube

It's strange isn't it, Solskjaer pretty much sets them up like under Mourinho for the big games, but they seem a lot more relaxed. Although to be fair Mourinho's record in the big games wasn't actually that bad. Still controversial thing for me but still think while Solskjaer will get the job, he's not the right long term fit. Man Utd have gone from underperforming to overperforming. Seen that expected goals stat floating around tonight, there's no way that's sustainable longer term.

The game next week could go either way, just depends if we bring our terrible away form out or actually throw a bit of caution to the wind.

There's a legit possibility we'll have four English teams in the quarterfinals. That's amazing. What an extremely upset-filled knockout round, I've loved following it.
