I did wonder if that might happen seeing Shotgun's lead on i-tunes and how much IMF has fallen on Spotify.

Hopefully Shotgun can return :D

Would be happy to see shotgun back at number 1. The Coral, Il Divo, The Proclaimers and Jake Shears are all likely to fall for the rest of the week.

I know I'm old and out of touch but I didn't realise Il Divo had an album out this week.

In my defence, it's not particularly close to Christmas or Mother's Day.

I was expecting a disappointing chart position x nicki minaj

the album is not out on CD, doing poorly on spotify, so it's not gonna go very far on itunes alone, I was expecting her to be around #5

Nicki is over.

Let’s not forget her album doesn’t yet have a physical equivalent

LOL at that Cher song in the top 100. Why not Fernando? By the way, where is Buzzjack's Mr Cher Maniac this week? ;)
Chuffed to see Grand Prix by Teenage Fanclub in the top 40. They reissued 5 of their albums from 1991-2000 on vinyl, but Grand Prix was my favourite of the bunch, so delighted to see that it's the highest selling of the bunch so far. "Sparky's Dream" is one of my favourite ever songs.
1 or 2 more weeks for mama mia then looking stream a bit quicker than expectef

Well, Ariana's album is out Friday, and I expect that will get to #1.

Nicki's doing just fine for a streaming only album that was only released Friday evening. I'm hoping that all three tracks can stay T40 in any case, and that "Bed" somehow manages to pick up a bit more steam on streaming and beat its previous peak of #20.

Here for George returning to #1 too - all the talk of him burping at 59 seconds into the song will surely have helped, as people would listen/watch the Youtube video to hear for themselves.

nicki is not an streaming only album, it's also out on itunes, which is whre most of her sales are coming from

it's not out on CD but urban artists don't sell CDs so wouldn't make a difference

I actually have an original vinyl pressing of Grand Prix but the actual quality isn't that good. It is my favourite of their albums too.

Nicki being #5 is now a flop!? When people were saying she’ll struggle to even go top 10 before its release? K.

everybody was predicting #2,#3 so...
Well, it's going to do significantly better than her last album that got to #22, despite having a hit single and another top 40 single.
