BJSC CVIII SEMI FINALS

1. We recieved 60 entrants and so Summericia will be joined by FARC in the AQ's!
2. You must vote using the 12,10,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1.. Eurovision style layout!
3. You must not vote for your own entry or the AQ tracks!
4. AQ nations will vote in both Semi's!
5. If you fail to vote at all then you'll suffer a 33% deduction in points!
6. Late Votes will probably be accepted but will get a reduced deduction by 15% In these circumstances I'll probably give them till the next morning to have sent votes in!
7. You mustn't reveal any of your votes to anyone!

Small nitpick, *Ani is her name :kink: Eek at opening a semi, everyone on time for plug plz xo Unsure about the semi draw but you never really can tell in BJSC.

See a couple of my potentials on here, Ivy Adarra is fab (robbed queen of X Factor Australia xx) and I love Le deva and Vava!

(Italy and Australia covered, I'm nothing if not predictable)

i think i've seen like eight of these artists on triple j/hot hits australia (TAROBell's in particular was on Hot Hits Australia)

Sunmi again? Isn't she like one of those cursed artists at this point?

Harmonica hype tho, I'm almost convinced that Jordan just poaches off of Christian radio at this point (send Mosaic MSC next)

Why did you not enter :cry: :lol: (bah at being so close to having Ambienta in my semi as well! @Dalek I strongly recommend Skee Mask's whole album to you if you've not heard it already, it's quite reminiscent of Aphex Twin's early ambient stuff). That aside I think this is an ok semi-final draw for me but keeping low expectations anyway, sending really niche entries every month is going to bite me again eventually x

So many self-recycles in my semi, are we all out of ideas this month? :P (I am here for another We Are All Astronauts song though as the previous one is one of my favourite Terra entries!)

Just looking at the semis quickly, they both look like a good mix of genres! Although I am glad to see my Asian sister nations Daehun and Seyetana both with me! Also have lots of love for Cadelicia's entry, so I'm hoping my track will be able to make it through okay.

Speaking of Daehun, though, I totally knew that either you or someone else would've sent that track if I didn't! I would have been more surprised to not see it pop up this contest honestly. Not to show favoritism so early on, but I would definitely pick it as a top contender. It's easily Sunmi's best track to date!

well it was said early on in confirmations that the list looked pretty uninspired so far (at that time). maybe all those "uninspiring" songs (aka artist recycles or whatever) ended up in our semi?

Ooh I couldn't have asked for a better semi draw.

Trifoski hype omg <3333 I used 'Time To Wander' on my first CD Swap a few years ago, what a surprise to see it now :o Also very excited to see how Daniella Mason does, some justice for 'Cover The Earth' DNQing is in order tbh.
