yes Cody! 'Cruel Summer' was just outside my top 15 so that's a pleasing winner there. Harry and Cody back to back wins too, it was meant to be really.

 

at least it didn't end up being just 1-2 points in it because listening to 'Sinking' again I think it's up a few places in my rankings, a proper grower and beauty of an entry.

this is probably the most disappointed i've been with one of my own results for ages :(! i did think that a 6 minute track with not many vocals wasn't really the hit in waiting but the hype can push your expectations up. it is one of if not the best thing i've sent this year, so just disappointed with that in comparison too! definitely my fave contest in an age though - great discoveries (OT Quartet and QUEEN DANIELLA OMG) and some really interesting results.

Congrats Cody on the win. Another really close finish made this exciting to follow. Thanks Rob for doing such a great job as host.

FARC staying top 10, Summericia and Tartford just about scraping the top 20 is great to see too, stunning entries all of them. pleased with 12th for myself too.

 

Aeroche a bit too low for my liking only 16th after the contender predictions :o poor floppy Holland-Oats too. :(

Yay! Managed to cling onto third, my third top 5 this year *.* Absolutely gobsmacked at how well some of my entries have gone down this year.

So Leww beat me by 8 points in BJSC 90 and Cody beat me by 6 points - queen of near misses in the main contest :lol:

Happy with 17th for Sumasshedshaya, expected probably just outside top 20 or lower, so that and breaking 200pts is fab! :wub:

 

Mixed bag in terms of my faves, YAS for Sip Sip, Heartbreak Hotel and Siren top 20 and ofc Europa and Cruel Summer top 5, gutted to seee Yahabibi, L'estate tutto l'anno, Rebels and Party Maker so low but I wasn't sure the latter two would even Q so can't complain too much.

Not the biggest fan of 'Cruel Summer' but the rest of that top 3 is fantastic, Somnium was such a massive standout that I'm not really surprised per se at it doing that well in the end but it was rather *.* to see it surging so heavily right at the end after being around the low top 10 to top 15 most of the night, and 'Europa' was of course a massive moment in there as well. Then wow at Harmonica delivering on the plug hype to get a new peak, 'joy.' didn't quite make my votes but it was a big grower! And the biggest surprise of all is Land of DW getting as high as 6th :o I was really hoping that'd be a dark horse low top 20 hit or so but never even considered it might be that high! Also fabulous to see Utopia getting another top 10 as well as Niceland and (after 84 years) Desbuanda, plus Tinnmark really outperforming expectations and nearly getting a top 10 for their anniversary! Really happy with those results on the whole! *.* (apart from that disgusting underperformance for We Are All Astronauts).

 

Coming 2nd from last is a little unsatisfying because if I was going to do that badly I'd have preferred to at least get the distinction of a wooden spoon haha - and I didn't even get the consolation of getting to 100 points either, as well as not finishing in anyone's top 2, it's Fura all over again :nocheer: Seriously though I'm not that bothered really as I knew this one wouldn't be setting the scoreboard alight, still just in shock at it even qualifying, thanks to the few voters it got, especially Lew and Cal x

edit: on the upside though, 37th is a unique position, yay xx
