September 25, 20186 yr poor floppy Holland-Oats too. :( Remember when I wasn’t coming bottom 10? Me neither x Congrats Cody! ;o Great to see Cowtermont Top 5 too, it was briefly my 18 at first but got knocked down by others in repeated listens :P
September 25, 20186 yr Yay, congrats Cody! I'm looking forward to the next contest in Cor Lupus! Great hosting Rob! I'm over the moon with 6th for 'She's Kerosene', last month I sent 'Ederlezi' to have a safe-ish Q and now I sent The Interrupters as I was mentally preparred to DNQ with something I love. Wow, I still have no idea how bjsc works  My top 2 underperformed sadly (particularly Holland-Oats), but they were great discoveries, thanks Dandy and Dexton for sending these gems! I'm really happy that Jerick's 100th entry managed to do fairly well, 'Liberation' is definitely one of my fave Tinnmark entries. Edited September 25, 20186 yr by FrankLuck
September 25, 20186 yr When I got to Somnium, it was the last song for me to hear and I was ready to go to sleep, it being 1am and all. I’d even forgotten about Jade sending an anime inspired orchestral thing and didn’t make the connection (and I was on the YouTube playlist () so didn’t see the country name). But it just totally struck me so hard, it was beautiful and I wanted to play it more by the end and now I want to find more like it.. Very pleased with it second and W&W (that had one of the best videos ever seen in BJSC) doing so well too, and Land Of DW, although I’d have preferred them winning. Barely recall the winner at all, congrats Cody though. Bit disappointed at my placing considering it was an underperformance but only a bit, thank you to those of you who did give me stuff and I’ll see you all in Cor Lupus.
September 25, 20186 yr That top 10 is great tbh. Also me & Pete trading 12's in the semi. Not gonna lie I'm a bit gutted I've literally just missed the final for the third contest in a row but congrats to Cody. :cheer: It's about time!! Excited to see what next month will bring now.
September 25, 20186 yr Well done Cody, a good pop song which grew on me with each listen! About the only position in the top 10 I’d have predicted, what a surprising set of results! But always good to see unpredictable things happening. Thank you for your excellent hosting efforts Rob, a very slick and enjoyable presentation.
September 25, 20186 yr Well done Cody! Thank you to Rob too for hosting, brilliant work! Pleased to see SAVEUS Top 10 but it deserved even higher! :( 7th in the semi only to fall down to low 20s again! Thank you random.org *.*
September 25, 20186 yr I don't remember what the winner sounds like either. :( #notintouch. But congrats Codyyy! Wow, second win, and for some reason I thought it may have been your third until I checked your badge. :kink: (#stillnotintouch) Obviously it says one win right now but I know this one still needs to be added. Pleased for my 18 (Quintessa) coming third but I wanted it to win, it was amazing. Also Nice to see Niceland have another hit with one of my favourite entries of theirs! Thanks for hosting Rob. ^_^
September 25, 20186 yr so close to not qualifying! :o I thought I had a safe qualifier but probably not a song to rack up the 18's so I'm pretty happy with 21st! Think it's the first time I've finished there since my very first contest (yas Peter Luts). Very glad I've invested myself back into BJSC now as I've had plenty of discoveries from this contest - my fave new song being Yahabibi which is an absolute bop and you guys have slept on it!! (bar Liam I saw that 18 ) Thanks for all the votes! Also pretty happy with that winner - this Daniella Mason song just had that something more than the rest of her entries imo. Never would've predicted it as a winner but guess it was pretty accessible and catchy! Congrats Cody can't wait for you to host :D
September 25, 20186 yr Congrats Cody! A track that grew on me and a great catchy tune. A rare top 20 finish for Poor Brave Tartford (deserved top ten but hey ho :P ). Thanks to everyone who voted! And the most medal positions I think I've ever received. Also just realised this was my 5th qualifier of the year - an unimaginable record for us!

September 25, 20186 yr ABW5HBHN?@SJWU£&ABWH!AOQ Guys, I’ve waited 3.5 years for another top 10 and you dangled a win in front of me throughout the show before relegating me to 11th ahead of the deciding votes reveal, only to bump me back to safety BY A POINT. I followed live and have never experienced BJSC related stress like that haha (though did have a similar situation recently with ‘Take Back Time’, so thankfully history didn’t repeat itself there). SAVEUS proving an entirely apt artist name. :magic: Nah, only 22 points separate #3-#15 (!) so I feel extremely grateful to be one of the lucky ones. As has been said, the two non-voters could’ve massively changed that top tier, so thanks sooo much to everyone who gave Desbuanda points - they all clearly counted!!! Always awesome to hear some people made a discovery too, regardless of the result. It was also a (pathetically) thrilling ride being top two for a while with Harmonica of all nations, having our dark horse gospel/Christian entries nipped at the hooves heels by heavyweights like Aeroche and Cor Lupus... a scenario akin to my wildest BJSC fantasy*. <3 To indulge myself even more on this (as I’m on a roll now and who knows when my next post will be :’)), I find it hilarious that I initially vetoed this song on encountering it several months ago, as I thought the choir was a surefire BJSC kiss of death (not that near-certain failure is known to discourage Desbuanda ). I only revisited it on deadline day this time round as I had nothing else, and promptly agreed with Jordan that it was another ‘low expectations month’ for me as well... Blows my mind that this caught on more than anything I’ve sent since Eves The Behavior! As I said in my votes, this stands out to me as an extremely diverse contest, and it’s great to see that reflected in the higher placings, particularly the likes of Land Of DW and Utopia unexpectedly storming it. And my highest pointed Harmonican entry ends up being their biggest smash, after years of me stanning their flops, slay. Very pleased too with the winning song. It was my favourite straightforward pop entry of the contest and certainly a keeper on my playlists, even if I’d have preferred Daniella got there with ‘Shade Of You’. Big congrats to Cody - definitely looking forward to next month if your last turn at hosting is anything to go by. Huge thanks to Rob for all your work behind the scenes (and for your 18)! *no but seriously they’re all exactly like this
September 25, 20186 yr HLSLFJFKSHSKDH MICHAEL OMG THANK YOU I THOUGHT YOU HATED MY SONG #EndBeaverdoniaRacism Omg THIS!! Listening again I should have kept you where you originally were in me rankings before droppin it doon last second oops. But seriously Quintessa // Mónica Naranjo - Europa Y'all DEAF?! You do NOT appreciate Spanish music when you keep pointing TURD like this above um actual, non cheesy, popular hits. This was EASILY last for me after that robotic Spanish THING from the semi. The best thing aboot #Beaverdecides is me votes are alwaaays unpredictable. Sometimes I even meh songs on plug I like if they are developing a ridiculous hypetrain in relation to the quality of the song and viceversa :P Y'all canae tell if I am in. A dance mood, a pop mood, a rock mood, and all y'all know is that the novelty tracks WILL get high points, makin me the best unknown voter for the deciding vote!!
September 25, 20186 yr You know, I am glad we have a community that recognises that beauties like Europa are in a different class from Latin trash pop and we accept that which is better. also, most of us like more than one genre, you're not special xx

People would laugh if you went there and listed that among yo fave Spanish songs  Its only class is FLOP Also my genre preferences change wiildly month to month, I am ONE OF, IF NOT THE MOST!!, unpredictable voters hur, yours are quite predictable tbh  Nd based on hype trains, and weigh more heavily towards popular people's entries bye.
