this is probably the most disappointed i've been with one of my own results for ages :(! i did think that a 6 minute track with not many vocals wasn't really the hit in waiting but the hype can push your expectations up. it is one of if not the best thing i've sent this year, so just disappointed with that in comparison too! definitely my fave contest in an age though - great discoveries (OT Quartet and QUEEN DANIELLA OMG) and some really interesting results.

4th omg!!!!!!! Finally my first ever top 5 after 44 contests, I've been waiting so long for this and never did I think this of all entries would be the one to do it - genuinely thought it was a bottom 10 in the semi kinda song. So thankful :heart:

 

So pleased that Utopia and Desbuanda hung onto top 10. Aww at South Danaelanda falling just short though </3 The closeness in the top 15 is unreal, the missing Ambienta/Skall votes could have changed a whole lot there.

I came in with absolutely no expectations, so to win with this entry is waaaay beyond what I could have thought. Thanks so much to everyone who did give it points and recognition, you guys are the real MVP’s :heart: :heart: Jade’s entry was also great, I couldn’t fit it into my commiserations bc it was that strong of a contest but I did have an inkling that it was gonna smash if it managed to qualify so yay!

 

Four of my top 5, including my entire top 3 made top 10 so I’m overjoyed with that, yay for Jordan getting his first top 5! I’m glad She’s Kerosene managed to outperform expectations and get up there, it really deserved top 10. Kinda wished Summericia and Unovia were a bit higher tho but still really good results.

 

This has easily been one of my favorite contests since I first joined! Thanks so much Rob for the amazing effort!

At first I was like WTF how was I as high as 12th in the semi. Then I looked over and saw I got Skall's 12 and I think I'd have DNQed if Harve hadn't been able to vote in the semis either. Now it makes sense! (I'm claiming a moral 18 from Skall in that case :kink:)

AS IF UNOVIA WAS THAT CLOSE TO GETTING BOOTED WTF. Also wow @ Jadakissnia being projected to win!

Finished higher than my projected then, must be a grower ^_^

oh and Utopia would have 105votes if they'd voted in the semi putting them 2nd!! lots of very unexpected yet exciting results across all boards really.
