Could be such an easy money spinner/exposure for Kylie every year with zero effort - her team could literally link the release on her socials, update her playlists etc.,

Sure it will as it’s been much higher on Spotify and it’s backed up on deezer and apple…also whilst the streams usually drop off during the week it should be much less given it’s the week leading up to Christmas.

Next week will be massive for Christmas songs on the chart as there’ll be five giant streaming days included. Kylie Christmas may chart somewhere for two weeks. Whilst Santa Baby has underperformed on Spotify the next four popular ones have done much better, plus I don’t remember tracks charting on Deezer as they have been doing.

Id love if it could go top 75 but i will take top 100 given kylie a 4th chart appearance for 2023 in the singles top 100.
Pity 10 out of 10 didnt chart

Don't worry! It will chart when the much-anticipated remixes will finally be released. ;)

Obviously different markets between 2015 and 2023 but I do find it interesting how Cher has managed a Top 10 peak for her Christmas album promoting just one original song whereas Kylie performed numerous covers and no originals and had a less successful album.

I wish Kylie had done it this way (with 'Christmas Isn't Christmas...')

84 in UK!!!!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Hopefully it can climb next week otherwise it’ll be it’s first absence from the Top 75 since 2015.

„Santa Baby was later a No.31 hit for Kylie Minogue in 2017, in which version it has achieved digital consumption of 839,441 units.”
So it should get big streams Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and then a few on Tuesday. Thursday will be an average which should be ok too so fingers crossed.

I think the different markets says a lot it's nearly ten years difference and Cher made #5 this week on 8k which is incredibly low really for Xmas week. I'd be interested to know what Kylie's sales were when it peaked at #12? I also don't see Christmas going Gold unless she re-promotes it for several years with re-releases, new covers etc unlike Kylie is on 170k, plus Santa Baby being nearly 900k even if it has only peaked at #31.

I have to say though Cher's promo for this album has been utter killer, she has smashed it.
