December 17, 20187 yr Masterton says Sunday's data for Amazon, Apple and Spotify is missing, and whole weekend for YouTube. Presumably Ariana would be ahead otherwise? Edited December 17, 20187 yr by AcerBen
December 17, 20187 yr Ariana is going to be more ahead than I thought with missing streams then, don't think it will be that close this week after all, maybe 2-3000 I reckon. C Edited December 17, 20187 yr by Lomadz
December 17, 20187 yr Shame the general public don't really care about the Xmas number one anymore, a close battle like this would have had people salivating in the past. Makes the motivation behind the whole Rage Against The Machine campaign seem almost wasted, everyone wanted the Xmas number one back from the grip of X Factor, well they've got it...and it's been greeted with tumbleweed and shrugs of indifference all round ever since... I wouldn't say it was following the rage campaign, that was one of the great and most memorable chart moments ever. I think it's more to do with streaming that the Xmas no1 has stalled but we have made sure that normal songs now hit the top spot!
December 17, 20187 yr If only Ava's label got her over here to do some promo. They should be clearing her schedule!
December 17, 20187 yr I'm surprised there's such a gap between Flakefleet (#15) and Fire Tones (#67), especially since I believe Fire Tones had a physical CD available. Beginning their campaign on a Wednesday has really ruined their chances. I guess Ladbaby being at #2 could motivate people to try and get it up to #1 so I wouldn't rule him out. Oh and Little Mix look likely to be the first act to fall out of the Top 40 from the Top 10 after hitting ACR. Little Mix only dropping out due to the Xmas songs, may well re enter the top 30 in 2 fridays!
December 17, 20187 yr Ava odds on with the bookies, just got 5/4 on Ari as I think tomorrow will swing it.
December 17, 20187 yr Little Mix only dropping out due to the Xmas songs, may well re enter the top 30 in 2 fridays! Mind you the top 75 is full of Christmas tracks, there will be more returning back in two weeks time. I was doing the sales prep for this Friday and there isn't hardly any new music to add. Those days are gone when other artists where filtering through with new music, not just charity tracks.
December 17, 20187 yr Happy to see One More Sleep top 20, I hope it can stay in and maybe even get a new post release year peak. Last year it charted at #19.
December 17, 20187 yr The album sales are extremely disappointing for the week that it is. I really hope sales can pick up as the week progresses. Next weekend should be the big sales week. Wonderful to see Kylie back in the Top 40, yet again with Golden.
December 17, 20187 yr I wouldnt mind Ladbaby staying top 10 id rather Ava got it over ariana but we know which way its gonna go Hopefully the waitresses climb its very underated and kelly climb in (ideallybshe would repeak but not gonna happen)
December 17, 20187 yr Yeah with data missing Ari's got it! Still it's been good there's been a bit of competition! The only hope is if Ariana's streams start to really drop off today/tomorrow.

December 17, 20187 yr Just imagine a track about Sausage Rolls at #1 for 9 weeks :nocheer: The biggest selling single in Ireland in 2006 was about a sausage roll! EIIWKA_h12Q
December 17, 20187 yr 24k for The Greatest a Showman in last mondays mids and 25k this time. More footfall this week, prob set for 65k for Xmas no1, the other albums have mainly increased though!
December 17, 20187 yr Micheal buble coming for 40k this week or maybe a bit more! His album should reach platinum early next year, quite the success when you think he hasn’t really promoted it
