Posted January 2, 20196 yr It's all been totaled up, and while we work on the results let's see how last year's turned out (which included some extras). 1 Touch 2 Love Me Like You 3 Power (feat. Stormzy) 4 Move 5 Salute 6 Secret Love Song (feat. Jason Derulo) 7 No More Sad Songs (feat. Machine Gun Kelly) 8 Reggaetón Lento (With CNCO) 9 DNA 10 Is Your Love Enough? 11 Black Magic 12 Shout Out To My Ex 13 Wings 14 Hair (feat. Sean Paul) 15 Oops (feat. Charlie Puth) 16 These Four Walls 17 Weird People 18 Change Your Life 19 How Ya Doin' (feat. Missy Elliott) 20 Little Me 21 F.U. 22 Grown 23 You Gotta Not 24 Cannonball 25 Word Up! A damn mess! Will this year's be messier though?
January 2, 20196 yr Hoping for improvements for No More Sad Songs (top 5?) and Reggaetón Lento. And a high debut for Think About Us.
January 3, 20196 yr Author 21 4.46 'Word Up!' Lowest: Lee (0), Chapman (-1) Highest: UltraReputation (10). 1zk0ToEA8sY Last place, again. I actually think as far as charity covers, go, 'Word Up' is cute! I gave it a 6, which it fully deserves to me. It's something I'd go back to more than, say 'I Just Can't Get Enough' or 'Walk This Way'. The video is a hoot, too. (That doesn't mean something from Salute should absolutely not replaced this.
January 3, 20196 yr Yeah WU is one of my fave charity cover singles. It's so much fun! But a deserving last place.
January 3, 20196 yr The extended mix of 'Word Up' goes OFF. Shame it's last place again, but not surprising given that the girls don't really have any total duds (well, released as singles anyway).
January 4, 20196 yr 20 5.6 'Cannonball' Lowest: Tawdry Hepburn & blacksquare (0) Highest: CardiiB (9.5), PAJ88 (9) KlxoG9gNZU4 And keeping the trend of finishing bottom 2 is their coronation, winning single 'Cannonball'. It's such a simple yet effective winners single. One of the very best for me. I understand why they wanted nothing to do with it in the past, but I feel like they could get away with performing this on tour again and people actually be in awe of the performance! So beautiful.
January 6, 20196 yr I'm still p***ed at Word Up! for ridding 'Nothing Feels Like You' of single status.
January 7, 20196 yr Author 19 6.6 'Little Me' Lowest: CardiiB (3) Highest: Euphorique, Cqmerqn, PAJ88, Tawdry Hepburn, Jade (8) SamJudd(8.5) wXhMqDotfLk Not a huge surprise that this one is out, it's usually one of the first to leave. As always, cute song, never should have been a single.
January 7, 20196 yr 'Little Me' is a much better ballad than 'Change Your Life', forever dismayed at Buzzjack placing this lower than it.
January 7, 20196 yr 18 6.64 'Change Your Life' Lowest: Tawdry Hepburn (2) colinn (3) & shindymindy (4) Highest: Rossco (10) & Liam (8.5) ifRoMGG8Wvs Next to leave us is the cute bop, 'Change Your Life'. It's becoming a bit of a thing for LM to have at least one of these huge, empowering pop anthems on their albums. They seem to be getting better with each era too. I really love this. It's pop at it's purest
January 7, 20196 yr 'Little Me' is a much better ballad than 'Change Your Life', forever dismayed at Buzzjack placing this lower than it. There were only 0.04 average points in it!
January 7, 20196 yr How Ya Doin' to drop next I predict. Also do agree that 'Little Me' shouldn't have been a single, it nearly killed the era, 'Towers' should have been the X-Mas single for that year, followed by 'Nothing Feels Like You/Word Up' as the comic relief single and then have 'Salute' as the final single.
January 7, 20196 yr I'll always dislike 'Little Me' more than 'Change Your Life' simply because the former robbed so many potential single choices, whereas DNA was a pretty weak album overall. Having said that, they're both cute songs, just bottom of an otherwise stellar single discography.
January 8, 20196 yr Author The exact same placings as previously then! Nope, How Ya Doin is still here!
January 8, 20196 yr Author 17 6.98 'How Ya Doin' (Feat. Missy Elliott)' Lowest: Lee (2) Highest: JosephAvery (10) Colin, Slick,...ready for it (9) hT_HWIIKbG8 Another one of the usual suspects here, 'How Ya Doin', one of the girls' only two singles not to be certificated. I would have ago at you all, because to me this is a perfectly serviceable bop, bit to be honest, a 6.98 average is great, and probably slightly more than it deserves, and the songs about all pretty much deserve to be where they are.
January 8, 20196 yr I'll always have a soft spot for How Ya Doin - definitely their most underrated single. It's a cute homage to the nineties. bop~ Edited January 8, 20196 yr by blacksquare
