was checking now and the last 2 Stereophonics album did almost the same, Keeping the Village Alive did 44K in Sept 2015

and Scream Above the Clouds did 43K in Oct 2017... seems like their fanbase is pretty intact, so should be a pretty easy #1 for them

also checked James Blunt... His 2013 album Moon Landing opened with 41K but that preceded by his last big hit (Bonfire Heart)... his next album, The Afterlife in Mar 2017 opened with half of that, 24K, and just like this time he didn't have any hits from the album

there's also the new Rick Astley GH, if his fans are as crazy as Kylie's, he might sell a lot of physicals...

Stereophonics should comfortably go to Number 1 and it is hard to predict who will sell more between James Blunt and Rick Astley.

Rick Astley, Best o,f is re worked versions, which generally, are not as popular as Best Of Colllections that house the originals.

Kaney has gone crazy, he's been hanging out too often with Donald Trump :D

nope, Rick Astley has both the originals + some reworking tucked at the end of the GH, at least on Spotify, it's 30 tracks in total and

it's just the last 9 that are re-imagined, the first 21 are the original versions not reworked

can someone give me an explanation how can i non released album be in the i tunes chart?

Also does it add to the pre-orders to accumulate with the first week sales in chart?

Hope Stereophonics do get no.1. Losing out to Ball and able last time was awful.
James Blunt #1, Kanye #2, Stereophonics #3

Stereophonics at #3 and #7 so should still be #1 overall.

My signed Amazon copy is ‘delayed’ due to stock issues which is frustrating.

Outside chance of Michael Kiwanuka grabbing a second #1 album maybe? Probably between him, ELO and Krept & Konan (who'll obviously do much better on streaming) for highest new entry anyway although not sure any of them will sell well enough to prevent just having Ed return to #1 or something. I suppose the ELO album could move a pretty good number of physical sales, don't remember how well their last album sold. This new Kiwanuka album has had a couple of pretty good singles, I'm here for his continued success xx

I'd be happy with ELO or Michael at #1, either way it would be another indie/alt artist at the top!

I wonder if the Children in Need album would sell enough to be #1 if it was included on the main chart?

I'd be here for that, he deserves a lot more acknowledgement. What'd his last album sell at no1 like 18k !

rooting for Michael Kiwanuka but probably will be ELO

the last Kiwanuka album hit #1 but was one of the lowest #1s ever with just 11k... but I think he's a bit more popular now thanks to Big Little Lies

One of the best albums of the year, he's so so so deserves this number 1 but I doubt he'll get it.
