I enjoy this! Admittedly it's not something I really ever listen to out of choice, but I still do enjoy it whenever I hear it. It's almost like a slice of novelty fun.

 

Obviously the follow-up single was in a different league though, that's the one that will stick with me.

Still to this day, a pretty awful choice of lead single, especially on an album packed with so many gems.

This era would have been far more successful if it went like this.

I still really like this tbh. It’s catchy as hell and I love the video too. I know it is quite childish and not amongst her very best but it is really feel good and it always makes me smile. I agree it probably wasn’t a strong lead single but it still was a hit for her.
