This thread prompted me to stream BL tonight - they really did chose the best songs as singles, not sure there are any missed opportunities on this like some other Kylie albums.

It’s decent but not a screaming omission as a single like some of her other album tracks (for me at least), I doubt it would have performed better than the songs that became single.

RBW was a meh moment for me at the time.

The issue with Red Blooded Woman was that it literally sounded like a lot of the R&B songs on the radio at the time, same thing as Holler by the Spice Girls a few years earlier. In retrospect, both songs have actually aged well but at the time it just didn't stand out and just ended up sounding like a desperate bid to get on US radio.

That's pretty much how I feel about it aswell and with holler by the spice girls. Body language overall I had the same feeling and it's a fairly boring album apart from about 3 or 4 songs.

One of my fav Kylie songs !! Love it !

It's in the lower ranking of Kylie singles.

It was a single with a view of appealing to the American market.

Not a big fan of RBW. It’s too urban sounding. I don’t like her voice on the song.

I think it's one of her best! Definitely my favourite Body Language single. It stands out in such a brilliant way in her discography.

I wanted this to be #1 instead of Toxic at the time, there was a chart battle hyped up between Kylie and Britney at the time. I thought Red Blooded Woman was a better song. I really liked it at the time.

Red blooded woman didn't even come close but I didn't really like toxic either even though its hugely popular.

Yes I was surprised at the time that it didn't come close even though a lot of people in the media were hyping up the chart battle at the time.
