I'd say at this point 'Your Disco Needs You' is arguably more well-known to the general public than a good few of her top 10 hits from 2000 onwards.

Seriously this - I’m sure some people think it was a single/hit in the UK.

It always gets a rousing response at her shows and everyone seems to know the song and words.

YDNY at shows is usually far better received than many of her singles both big and small.

Saw this in the dance thread and it's probably an April's fools joke but part of me doesn't want it to be.

It definitely is. It's only been mentioned on that one account, which was created yesterday. I suspect Wardy posted it.

I REALLY want her to perform it somewhere the general public will see it. Like imagine if it was part of the BRITs medley and she finished with that final note in the song. She nails it every time and I could see it really impressing everyone.

12,500 Spotify streams on Saturday for YDNY…expect that’s significantly more per day than it has been achieving. Be interesting to see what it manages in the coming days.
I know it’s meant to be a forbidden subject to discuss the AF charts (  ) but I think it’s pretty epic we have a 48 week unbroken run at #1 :cheer:

As someone who is a part of the team that made the decision for the data to be read-only in the artist forums:

We understand that the post numbers/charts are of interest to many members, which is a reason why the data is shared.

However, there came a point when certain artist forums were making numerous posts about the AF chart, not just on the day that the stats are revealed, but throughout the week. This was giving the impression that some members were feeling motivated to bump up the post numbers specifically to manipulate the outcome of the chart.

The artists forums are designed for discussion regarding their music/careers, and the AF chart is meant to be a reflection of that discussion. It helps the artist forum leaders to properly assess how genuinely active an artist forum is based purely on artist discussion. If a chunk of that is AF chart chat/off topic chat, it becomes more difficult to assess how well the artist forums are actually doing.

Over in The Lounge forum, the posters chart is posted every week, and it includes the Top 10 artist forums of the week. Members are more than welcome to comment on the performance of Kylie or any other forums there. Here’s the latest thread: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=270541

I get the reasons I guess, just a shame that on a chart forum the charts of the AF can’t be discussed in the actual AF.

Felt a bit of a naughty school boy decision rather than the AF mods dealing with too much chatter about the charts.

Bought it recently for under £9….its a really nice product, good quality vinyl.

Obviously I would have preferred SQ but actually more likely to play this in December.
