Quite liked the winner but I didn't vote for it. Still, another Oslol contest possibly waiting now which could be really fun, especially since I didn't participate in the last one but nearly choked from the sidelines at the hilarious mindfuck lmao.

 

Wasn't actually expecting Tartford to come last in the end. I gave it 15 in the final and 12 in the semi so yeah, one of my faves here.

Congratulations Oslol, genuinely a very worthy winner and actually a song I think I ended up liking a little bit more than Marnik in the end so actually guys, I'm okay with this second. Really. :lol: Though it makes it a lot easier for me that those Bhangra votes got accepted and the gap wasn't so close that my votes alone could have stopped them, then I'd just be instinctively cursing Ducky for sending a great song that I had to vote for.

 

But that aside, I really didn't expect this much support behind this entry when I entered it so thank you all very much, especially the MANY people who gave me an 18, I never get so many of those. Really glad that it was so popular, and I've got a genuine hit this year... back to 2nd as with the last time I entered the top 10.

 

And then the final thing, I'm going to have to prepare for the 50% possibility of an auto-qualifier now, which is a fun idea but I don't THINK changes my entry plans that much. To be decided.

Overall this was a more pop-friendly final than I anticipated, and I'm pleased with how the majority of my faves did. Especially Thelonia top 10 and Taahino at their highest since Hayley Kiyoko I'm guessing? Altyr Muunilinst sneaking into the left side of the scoreboard as well :wub: My only gripe is how poorly MKS did for Askorza!

Ooh I picked up a second medal position among the jury! I forgot that Suedeonia were among the list, that was one of the few nations I had in mind who might be a fan of 'Tancevat' so very pleased to have got a 13 there, thanks Suedey :cheer: no 18s this time but a 15 and a 13 will do me nicely. Thanks Addy/Jake/Vülki for the last few points in the jury as well! :3 34th is a unique position for me too so salvaging something from this! I can't really complain about finishing lowly when this was a song I'd never have sent if I knew it'd have to try and get through a semi-final :D

I'm sure you'll be able to correct me if I'm wrong, but I suspect that is the most points I've ever given for a Persephonia entry.

I will attempt to host, but will likely not be able to live up to the mes that I was last time, but who knows you might get lucky, don't be disappointed if I'm the model of efficiency!

 

I also may be moving into my first house during this process, so if that happens I may need a step in, but everything is still with the solicitors so f*** knows when that will get sorted.

No changes from the last time Yehesi were involved. We’ve had a long period of stability in the rules and regs ^_^

 

 

National finals are still fine so long as the winner isn’t like publicly confirmed until the semis open :D

As it's a ducky contest next I'm tempted to buck my usual styles and go all pop!

I am also planning to go for a pop song :o (well, it's dream pop so would probably still go in the Indie forum by BuzzJack standards but that's as close as I ever get to pure pop :lol:)
