Hunter-perhaps not the most impactful but was surrounded with bags of potential.

Dr Legg-EE legend.

Ray-yeah he was a bit of a nobody.

Shakil-another young man with potential in an extremely high profile knife crime story.

In fact, out of the 120 EE characters to have been killed off on or off screen over the past 35 years, 70 have been men and only 50 women.

Ans yet they refuse to kill off any remotely handsome men ot men who are big characters. Funny that.

A bit mean to say none of them were ‘remotely handsome’!

Also they have killed off lots of big male characters! This is a circular conversation, Keanu is no bigger a character than any that I just listed.

If they weren't sexist, Max and Keanu woukd have died instesd of random female deaths around them, with the women throwing thenselves into the way of the plot to protect these insipid male characters.
Ray was a fair bit more than remotely handsome!!
Mel’s death was not random, it was coming. In fact, I dare say they killed off her son just to facilitate it.
God I do love Karen Taylor . Lorraine Stanley is just brilliant .

Def a character who has increased in popularity bit by bit and I do really like her.

They really didn’t explore Keanu’s father when they had the chance, did they?

I really hope Mick and Linda split up and she finds someone better.

Ben is an absolute C.U.Next.Tuesday! I don't think I've seen the character as smug and cold blooded as this before.

Yeah I'm not keen on this character development for Ben. Based on his past personality, I don't really buy him being someone who would be so gleeful and content at the thought of someone having been murdered (I know there was no love lost between Ben and Keanu, but still...). Unless this behaviour is some sort of satisfaction in thinking his dad might finally be genuinely proud of him. Hmm.

Do we all hate Denny? I suppose how he's been treating Sharon since she confessed is in keeping with his character, he's always seemed pretty awful to her.

She could come back as the character she played in 2005 that Big Mo visited in prison, I guess!

I wasn't sure about the new Ben to begin with but I'm enjoying him more as time goes on. He's a very complex, layered character. It's clear to me that he's acting the big man, saying and doing dodgy things, to impress Phil because he really wants his acceptance. That's always been Ben's thing and they've got it spot on I think.
I think Keanu will make a return for the 35th anniversary and possibly this will be how Louise departs.

Well the shockers tonight! Louise trying to smother her baby, Linda standing up for herself, Habiba genuinely believing Mo was 49, Sonia actually being at work, Lisa being the first person in years to attempt entry through the front door of the Mitchell house....

I can’t take this drama tbh.
