I'm with Joe, it just feels very flat and doesn't have much to it :(

“Flat” as a criticism surprises me. To my ears there’s strong & memorable melodies/hooks throughout it! Pop like this in the charts is rare nowadays so it’s a shame it’s being slept on.

the song itself is not flat - for me, i think it's more to do with ava + her delivery. it would be lauded if another pop girl had it to give it some personality.

Maybe that's what it is! It just doesn't go off the way it thinks it does to me.

Pretty much agreed. I'm so sad too coz it's people who have flawless music tastes that aren't digging it and it's a shame!!

She’s in uncomfortable territory now tbh. I’m sure they record company used payola to get her on JR and it’s resulted in little action for the song.

 

They can’t launch an album until she has a few consecutive big hits and she needs to start from scratch as SBP and SAI are becoming distant memories.

All of these promo slots are paid for by the label...

Hopefully this means she’s cancelled.

 

She legit had so much going for after sugar but psycho. So Am I even sold very well in the UK so to see Radio 1 drop her was quite a surprise.
