And some polls were as low as 6% with bad methodologies that underestimated Labour and young voter turnout.

Yet again - you don't know anything about their methodologies.

Also, have you considered the possibility that the narrower polls were the ones that *have* taken account higher youth turnout, thus already showing a best-case scenario for Labour?

Add in tactical voting and what do you have with this massive turnout?I still feel 305-308 Tories, Bojo blustering and Bojo gone.

Fine, believe what you want - we'll know in less than 7 hours...

Fingers crossed - if he ends up after all this with less seats than he started, would be hilarious and worth staying up for.

Exit polls will be interesting

Even if he gets a SMALL majority, smaller than what Mad May had wih the DUP, that's a victory for us and he won't last long with Brexshit. I think with this turnout best case scenario for Labour is 290 seats and best for Tories 338 MAX. I think: 305-308. A Labour-SNP coalition will be a DREAM givernment.

1 in 4 people were still undecided as of last night, Vidcapper. This isn't stable ground for the evil disco citizens aristocrats.

It's also raining and cold. Imagine Tories, convinced they're going to win, standing in long queues in this weather. They think, sod it, and we get a tinkerbell effect.

Me too, but we'll survive no matter the result. The Tories might turn into this authoritarian beast, but that will just finish them in the long-run. Keep the faith. Bojo will still go down as the worst prime minister EVER in history and the media as complicit in the election. High turnout, tactical voting, and he's toast.
Never mind, I expect he'll still win... :w00t:

Yeah he'll just sneak in maybe..... :D

Also, looking forward to Common Sense and Vidcapper kicking up as big of a stink about that disenfranchment, also about the postal votes that went missing in 2017 student marginals, as they did over 1 case of investigated fraud that wasn't even prosecuted in 2017 x

I have already said it was an error. Not Cardiff council's fault if the students didn't put the right Flat no., room no. etc.

I am genuinely so nervous. I feel a little sick about the results tonight.

Oh god.

Are you for real? You don't even know any results yet.

Why don't you stay up to discuss the results as they come in then Michael? Do you have to work tomorrow? I'm off.

Oh god.

Me too :( I almost don't want tomorrow to come in a weird way.

I haven't voted yet as been asleep all day and now it's pouring and windy. May go when the wife gets in at 7.30 to 8.

Oh god.

I am so worried about these results. The damage this haunted troll doll will do is frightening

I'm honestly expecting the polls to be very accurate this year. A narrow but clear enough majority for Torys :/

I'm even thinking quite a big Tory majority. After 3 hung parliaments in a row would love it to be 80-100.

I'll never understand how someone like you, in your circumstances could wish for something like that. It'll be one of those things that will forever baffle me.
