LOL. Boris showing them who's boss. Well as someone along our street, a black cabbie, huge Boris fan like me, said to me today, no-one can say the first few months of him Premiership have been boring. :D

Yes the Tory party has spent some money on sending out letters asking for votes. Is that allowed and legal?

Seriously — what an utter shambles. Sending your dad to the leaders debate?

Threatening Channel 4’s broadcasting remit? This is not normal government behaviour.

So not doing the Andrew Neil interview and sending his dad and Michael Gove to the climate debate one... I hope the papers have a field day with that. Although they'll be too focused slandering all the other parties to even acknowledge it.

Hopefully this will all backfire on Boris.

It won't.

He's 'showing them who's boss', according to the people with worms for brains.

Was he ever supposed to be on the climate change one though?

It was an open invitation for ALL leaders for some weeks - Johnson and Farage aka the Right-Wing brigade declined to join

But Johnson thought it important enough to send Michael Gove and his dad along.

Can you imagine the field day the press would have if Corbyn had sent a relative along instead of going himself

The press and BBTory would have headlines, video and photos blaring out if Corbyn did this for WEEKS  Sending his dad to a leadership debate instead of himself! Running drom Neil as well, and Neil is a hard right winger!!! The BBTory should not accomodate him. Neil, like he promised, like BBTory promised Labour to get then on the show, or NOTHING. No interviews with anyone else.
Well down Kristinan for highlighting at the end that Michael Gove was sent but they made it clear weeks ago it was a 'leaders debate'!

Maybe they don't think climate change is important like many people don't.

Which is odd for a big party like the Tories given its one of the most important issues of the day.

And you're right, its a correlated fact the more right wing the person the less likely the person will either care of acknowledge global warning...

I wouldn't say it's top of most voters priorities either. Brexit, NHS, education, the economy, far more important.

IT's number 5 at the moment.

I'm surprised that housing isn't seen as that important - by 2024 there will be more renters than owner-occupiers in the UK.

And just think if that complete cnut Farrage wasn't given such prominence then none of this Brexit sh!t would be happening and we would be getting on to actually fixing out internal problems such as the NHS, housing and crime

Agreed, basically more selfish and self centred.
