November 24, 20196 yr He's not released a single of his own since then  he's been on three singles, one of which spent ages at #1 earlier this year, No Brainer was a decent-sized hit and I think 10,000 Hours did better than most people would have expected. Justin's in a fine position and it's nothing to do with Dua - there is no connection. Pop Brat Justin Bibber is atrocious and should go back to flopping!!!
November 25, 20196 yr From the OCC - #39 - Mariah - AIWFC #49 - Wham - Last Christmas #75 - Pouges - FTONY #84 - Band Aid - DTKIC #97 - Michael Bible - IBTLALLC
November 25, 20196 yr No Ariana despite being the 3rd highest on Spotify then, she must be doing disproportionally well there compared to AM/Amazon.
November 25, 20196 yr If only 4k between them it will be a close race for Number 1. That said, i would believe Robbie Willliams would have had bigger pre orders. Mariah Carey, should be officially Top 40 this week based on that information.
November 25, 20196 yr Coldplay are currently about 4k ahead of RW :o Wow! I never expected it to be that close :o
November 25, 20196 yr Coldplay should still manage #1 I presume they’re streaming better than Robbie but quite surprised they didn’t have at least a 15K lead.
November 25, 20196 yr I did think Coldplay would have at least a 10k lead. This could indicate lower than expected sales for both Coldplay and Robbie Williams.
November 25, 20196 yr According to the OCC article Robbie was actually ahead in the first update and is outselling Coldplay on physical sales. That is... not great for them :x (the fact they've turned that initial deficit into a 4k lead already does indicate they'll probably stay at #1 but this race had no business being this close). (I mean Robbie is a huge chart force as well to be fair, I am interested to see what sales they're both on...)
November 25, 20196 yr People are massively underestimating Robbie Williams here, I think. The only people to have more UK number 1 albums than him are The Beatles and Elvis!
November 25, 20196 yr The only thing I hope is that both are on stellar sales and not underperforming!

If Robbie was ahead initially, and Coldplay have turned it around then Coldplay will be number1 by the end of the week. Edited November 25, 20196 yr by Jez
November 25, 20196 yr Only temporary, until a chart mod is available. https://www.officialcharts.com/charts/singles-chart-update/ https://www.officialcharts.com/charts/albums-chart-update/
November 25, 20196 yr If any Christmas song deserves Xmas #1 this year, it’s Wham! It or Mariah don't seem to have had any different reaction to the extra promo this year so far.
