August 31, 20204 yr I think so far she's proven to not really have a fanbase at all... some of her releases have done shockingly poorly on iTunes. I'm not sure I'd be confident in her being able to get a top 40 album (although the fact she's included so many old singles might help her out with their continuing residual streams I guess).
August 31, 20204 yr With albums though you need to sell less than you do on the singles chart to debut / peak higher and then I’m guessing this could have pre orders too. She tends to do better on physical sales too as well (well downloads). Idk I just have a feeling that she’s set for a top 20 debut.
August 31, 20204 yr I think she’ll deffo get top 40, possibly something similar to Bebe’s Expectations album but having said that it’s almost top 200 on Apple Music already and she hasn’t done badly on the iTunes pre-order chart for all that means. At best she could perform like Lauv’s album and scrape top 10?
August 31, 20204 yr The label will need to set up a tv and radio ad that absolutely hammer Sweet But Psycho and Kings and Queens
September 3, 20204 yr Author Her design team need sacking. She's had some absolutely GORGEOUS promo shots but THAT is the best they can come up with for a cover? VOM. Excited to hear though.
September 3, 20204 yr The album is split into 3 sections with Heaven, Hell and Purgatory (which is just Torn) I don’t really get the concept cause you’d think the Hell section would have a darker side to it but So Am I and Sweet But Physco are in there and they’re just light hearted bops
September 3, 20204 yr from an interview this summer: Heaven: songs which serve as anthems, Hell: consists of having "an angel and devil on your shoulder" and needing to navigate in different directions. so basically yes, no concept :D

Don't worry, she has the air conditioners on board.
September 3, 20204 yr OMG is on Spotify here in Australia but it and the album are still missing on iTunes for some reason.
September 3, 20204 yr I like Ava but I find funny how she tries so hard to present her music as having deeper meaning while they're all just catchy basic pop songs
September 4, 20204 yr Another bop, I'm looking forward to a PROPER lighthearted album full of meaningless fun, it's all I want.
September 5, 20204 yr I LOVE this. The chorus goes off and that middle-8 is iconic <3 I think I'll prefer this to Who's Laughing Now v. soon :o SO hyped for the album, its gonna have so many bops *.*
