I doubt he'd want to actively try and beat a song raising money for charity. I'm sure if LadBaby wasn't for charity and he was in a tight race with a 'normal' song, he'd be pushing more.

 

Shame as I have a bet on Stormzy and I really did not think LadBaby would do it again, absolutely amazed. I guess he'll go for the triple next year, and who can rule him out after this :lol: Shame it would be this week that sales at the top dip below the levels of the last few weeks really, I'm sure Tones and I would have beaten LadBaby a month ago.

Assuming now that he is going to hang onto #1 (I'm fully giving up any hope that he won't at this stage) I think we can already just assume he'll get Christmas #1 next year as well. There's absolutely no way he's not going to go for matching The Beatles / Spice Girls especially as the public has clearly demonstrated they're not tiring of the same cringeworthy joke and if anything are rewarding it even more this year. For a great cause of course but LadBaby monopolising the Christmas #1 with the same joke over and over is just as bad if not worse for any remaining interest in the Christmas #1 race as when Simon Cowell monopolised it with lazy XF winner's singles. I guess we can hope that he might at least slightly alter the formula next year... :lol:

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet but it appears Harry Styles' album debuted at #113 last week... Leaked copies from somewhere?
