November 27, 20204 yr Author 5 Seconds of Summer's 'CALM' has just been certified Silver so that's one less 2020 album on that list. Surprised to see Bob Dylan on that list given his album this year got certified pretty quickly! surprised to see Dylan in the list, I thought that album did pretty well, I think it did >20K on week 1... His latest album was his first since 2012 to feature new material so I guess that's why it did much better. 'Shadows in the Night' slipped away pretty quickly and had managed just under 45k by the time it left the chart in April 2015.

December 5, 20204 yr Tbf her album completed 2017 with just under 50k sales. It's probably selling at a tiny rate but there could be a slight chance it'll trudge passed Silver at some point. Surprised it sold that much tbh. In its first two weeks it had sold ~26k, so I would've expected it to be maybe at 35-40k, but I guess she's a legacy artist where people just end up picking up a copy here and there when discovering her discography.

I’ve noticed looking at one of the sales threads that Do They Know It’s Christmas is only 90,000 chart sales behind Candle in the Wind to become the biggest “selling” song of all time. Will it do enough sales this year to achieve it? Or will it have to wait until next year and let Shape of You take the record first?
