He's performing Before You Go on Graham Norton on Friday so still has a chance for next week even if he doesn't hold on this week.

I reckon he will also be selling more cd’s in the next few days. It's weird how some artists still care about having a number 1 single in the UK when no one else really cares anymore. Other than Ed Sheeran and the lad that does the Christmas singles no other singer really pushes for having a UK number 1 single anymore compared to years ago when tracks would be held back months to achieve the number 1.
January 26, 20206 yr just cos we now have OAOS it doesn't mean people and labels don't care for #1 sure that's still everyone's aim but #1 usually doesn't happen on week 1
January 26, 20206 yr There are still plenty of artists that clearly care about the charts, not even just the #1 (JAY1 and KSI pushed hard with social media promo to just get top 20 and top 10 respectively). It's just only really UK-centric artists who do, pretty understandably so.
