April 3, 20206 yr you really can manipulate charts these days I guess I mean, let's be fair, they both tried chart manipulation...!
April 3, 20206 yr Might she not nab the #1 this coming week? I'm sure her sales will be more stable than theirs.

Reflecting the influence of childhood favorites Queen, Elton John, and the Beatles, Styles' solo material took a more serious and rock-based approach, while still delivering the pop sound his faithful fans desired. His self-titled album debut appeared in 2017 and debuted at the top of the U.S. album charts. Later that year, he made his movie debut in the Oscar-winning epic Dunkirk, which topped American box offices, making Styles the first British artist to secure a number one debut single, album, and film in the same year. His sophomore album Fine Line arrived in 2019. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History 2017 01 Sign Of The Times -1- 2017 46 Sweet Creature -IG- 2017 51 Carolina -AT- 2017 58 Two Ghosts -2- 2017 64 Meet Me In The Hallway -AT- 2017 66 Kiwi -3- 2017 80 Only Angel -AT- 2017 87 Ever Since New York -AT- 2017 99 Woman -AT- 2019 03 Lights Up -1- 2019 17 Watermelon Sugar -IG- 2019 07 Adore You -2- 2019 20 Falling -3- 1 x #1 | 2 x Top 5 | 3 x Top 10 | 5 x Top 20 | 5 x Top 40 | 13 x Top 100 Social Media Harry Styles http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/uploads/group_images/of_233.png

April 3, 20206 yr anyhow congrats to 5SOS!!! Curious about sales now...they were 22k so they must add what 13k just yesterday?
April 3, 20206 yr ALBUMS 1 5 Seconds of Summer - CALM 2 Dua Lipa - Future Nostalgia 3 Skepta, Chip & Young Adz - Insomnia 4 The Weeknd - After Hours 5 Lewis Capaldi - Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent KINGS OF ACTUAL SALES :yahoo: Our offer to help fans outside the UK get a copy yesterday clearly paid off :smoke: Dua should have stuck to her original release date instead she had to slash her downloads and CD to under a fiver to compete rather than have full price sales this week #SCREAMING
April 3, 20206 yr Adore You now the longest-running 1D solo single! And joint third longest of all 1D singles :o 20 What Makes You Beautiful 19 History 17 Drag Me Down 17 Adore You * 16 Strip That Down
April 3, 20206 yr This has been such a fun and exciting week to follow guys, thanks for all of the entertainment
April 3, 20206 yr I wonder how close it was in the albums? I wasn't expecting 5SOS to be able to turn around that gap from Thursday's mids, amazing :o
April 3, 20206 yr Dua may well climb to #1 next week though and she’ll outsell in the long run. I suspect her total sales have overtaken 5SOS already
April 3, 20206 yr KINGS OF ACTUAL SALES :yahoo: Our offer to help fans outside the UK get a copy yesterday clearly paid off :smoke: Dua should have stuck to her original release date instead she had to slash her downloads and CD to under a fiver to compete rather than have full price sales this week #SCREAMING Don't be a bad winner
April 3, 20206 yr I mean, let's be fair, they both tried chart manipulation...! Dua was constantly selling 4k-5k a day and 5SOS did 600-1k, so not really both of them.
April 3, 20206 yr From OCC: 5SOS’s fourth album claims the top spot on this week’s Official Albums Chart, finishing just 550 units ahead of Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia. It’s the band’s second Number 1 in the UK after 2015’s Sounds Good Feels Good. View 5SOS's complete Official UK Chart history here. 83% of Calm’s Week 1 total came from physical sales, including 12,000 copies on cassette. For Dua, Future Nostalgia performed evenly on physical and streaming formats, each contributing just over 40% to her total. The album does however claim the Number 1 spot on the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, shifting 3,000 copies on wax.
April 3, 20206 yr I wonder how close it was in the albums? I wasn't expecting 5SOS to be able to turn around that gap from Thursday's mids, amazing :o Less than 600 copies!
April 3, 20206 yr YES 5sos! I agree with you and after all Dua's album will be number 1 next Friday. Shame 5SoS fanbase are not able to make any single of theirs a big hit these days.
April 3, 20206 yr Dua was constantly selling 4k-5k a day and 5SOS did 600-1k, so not really both of them. I mean, they were both slashing prices left, right and centre, offering crazy deals and offers, they BOTH tried the chart manipulation tactic this week. We can't criticise one for it and not the other. (for the record I prefer Dua's album but she's got a better chance of making it next week so I'm not pissed)
