April 9, 20205 yr 'I'll Keep Waiting', 'Best Friends' & 'Stand By You'. They were amazing. I love this album so much
April 9, 20205 yr Author Stand By You is SO GOOD. This performance and routine too  cUDXTgyPR3c Hannah and Tina's finest moment?
April 9, 20205 yr As a kid I thought this was their 7th album already because they were just that prolific
April 10, 20205 yr My sister got this Christmas 2000 (so she got the one with Never Had A Dream Come True on it) and I have to say it’s probably my favourite of their albums. I loved I’ll Keep Waiting and Stand By You.
April 13, 20205 yr I really enjoyed '7' at the time, but I haven't heard it for years... I need to revisit it! I remember that a few of the songs were quite mature sounding in comparison to their first album! Looking back, they released this album so quickly after 'S Club' - just 8 months later (36 weeks to be precise). :o Funnily enough that is the exact same length of time between Hear'Say's debut album Popstars and their second album Everybody, and I recall that Hear'Say were criticised in the media for releasing another album so quickly... yet S Club 7 thankfully got away with this for some reason. That second album was actually a commercial disaster for Hear'Say, but it was quite the opposite for S Club 7... their best selling album, certifying 4xPlatinum. *.* I know that Never Had a Dream Come True technically counts as a '7' single, with it being added to the re-release... but when it comes to the original track list, only Reach and Natural achieved single status. The album did amazingly well considering they didn't exactly milk it, it was a rather short era. If they'd prolonged the 7 era, what other singles would you guys have liked from this album?
April 13, 20205 yr Author 8 months!! :o That's crazy, it really doesn't show. There's still some typical S Club tracks on there - Reach, Love Train, Stand By You - but some really really mature tracks as well. Bradley really shines throughout as well!

With I'll Stand By You potentially being final single.
April 13, 20205 yr Two bops, particularly Bring the House Down  I could imagine a more dance/club single remix for it!
April 13, 20205 yr Was BTHD the one they added to the greatest hits? I get the feeling it was a scrapped single.
April 13, 20205 yr Author Was BTHD the one they added to the greatest hits? I get the feeling it was a scrapped single. It was! Friday Night (from S Club) also got added to the GH with the 2015 re-issue.
February 25, 20232 yr Bring The House Down definitely could’ve and should’ve been a single. Maybe I’ll Keep Waiting to close it out. I’d have chosen Stand By You but it wasn’t on the international versions. Love that one though.
February 25, 20232 yr "7" is by far and away my favourite album of theirs - so I was really shocked to find out in recent years that it's been so rubbished on pop forums / by the fans. I guess because it was in essence the soundtrack of L.A 7 - which is my favourite of their TV series - is what solidified my love of it. I genuinely love all the songs on it, it has that cool, laid-back sort of California vibe to it, in much the same way the songs on "S Club" all had that vibrant Miami beach feel to them that reflected Miami 7. I thought "All In Love Is Fair" was such a gorgeous song and I still do, I'd give my right arm for them to perform it on this tour that's coming up. I love "I'll Be There" as well, it has such a beautiful chilled out vibe to it, same with "Spiritual Love". I felt like such a boss when 12 year old me mastered Bradley's rap on that one 🤣 They really missed a trick not having "Bring The House Down" as a double-A-side with "Never Had A Dream Come True". It was the obvious choice of single after "Natural" anyway. I'm right in saying the remixes were already commissioned and sent out as promos before "Never Had A Dream Come True" was confirmed as the next single, so they were a bit silly not to do that. They'd done it with "Two In A Million / You're My Number One" the year before! So cutting an album short for singles made no sense at all.
February 25, 20232 yr Author It's interesting to me because it's notably more mature than the albums both before and after it...! Their biggest selling album yet I don't think it really contains as many classic S Club songs (Reach the notable outlier, and Never Had a Dream Come True from the reissue). That's not to say it's bad, because it's still brilliant. The cover of Lately feels random as pleasant as it is and I could skip one or two songs depending on my mood but I really like how cohesive it is. All In Love Is Fair is a majorly underrated one, obviously bops like Stand By You, Bring the House Down and Love Train are brilliant, and I'll Be There is another huge favourite. I think it could've had another couple of singles - Bring the House Down was the obvious missed opportunity but Stand By You is also single-worthy, I'd have loved a double A-side of that and I'll Be There!
September 21, 20231 yr Author Out on picture disc on 3rd November! https://shop.sclub7.co.uk/products/7-picture-disc Original tracklist, including Stand By You and Spiritual Love, no Lately or Never Had a Dream Come True.
September 21, 20231 yr I'm hoping that the track list being the original version means that they're aware it's not on streaming and that it'll come eventually. I'm also intrigued as to whether the album version of Natural will be included, or the single version!
September 21, 20231 yr So happy for those that are getting this. This is the type of release that makes me wish I collected vinyl's.
