Some Girls is simply incredible! 9th?! You heathens.

Omg yes, the 'jumping and drawing an s in the sky' moments in the S Club Party video... iconic.

I remember One Step Closer being near constantly played on music channels!

Omg. Some Girls slightly underperforming *.* YAS. "Save pop music it did not". Her career? Oh for sure.

Omg. Just realised ISNA(BHWA) is over performing predictions!! Yaaasss! Deserved!

Edit: also, I don't know ANYONE who didn't jump in the sky and do an 'S'!

6 8.76 I Said Never Again (But Here We Are)

Rachel's second highest track was her final single release. I Said Never Again (But Here We Are) is an undeniable highlight from Come and Get It, and was the album launch single, out two weeks in advance. However, it guttingly only charted at #12 - Rachel's first pre-album release to miss the top 10. Ouch :(

5 9.00 Never Had a Dream Come True

Released as the Children In Need single 2000, Never Had a Dream Come True didn't feature on the 7 album originally, so it was a brand new release later included on a re-issue. The ballad, featuring Jo on lead vocals, quickly became an S Club classic, soaring to #1 with 144,000 copies sold in week 1 alone. The track also hit #10 in the US - their only single to chart there! The track's become a winter favourite over the years, often receiving TV airplay through November and December.

4 9.08 Bring It All Back

When Bring It All Back came out, the public were already getting to know S Club. 9 episodes of Miami 7 had aired, with Bring It All Back serving as the show's theme tune. It was already embedded in their new fans' minds, so the fact it became a #1 smash hit is surely no surprise. The track sees the girls take the lead, all four of them performing a solo - one of only two S Club singles with Hannah and Tina solos, alongside Say Goodbye! Bring It All Back has cemented itself as one of the best pop debut singles of all-time, and is the group's third biggest seller, with over 600k sold.

3 9.11 Reach

The lead single from S Club's second album 7 was a pop music behemoth. Reach is an inspirational anthem, completely cheesy but so much fun. The pre-chorus is iconic, and we hear solos from the boys on a single release for the first time! Reach charted at #2, shockingly not a #1, though it was up against another huge smash - It Feels So Good by Sonique. Very unlucky! Nevertheless, it's become their second best seller in recent times and is a modern classic without a single doubt.

DON'T STOP MOVIN' vs SWEET DREAMS MY LA EX

Fantastic to have a Rachel and S Club song make up the Top 2... I hope Rachel pulls off a shock and is the winner, but I can't see past Don't Stop Movin' being the winner. Both songs are incredible!

Reach is a stone-cold classic! The artwork is fun but I always thought it looked like Jon had an up middle finger  He was clicking his fingers, but it looks a little suggestive x

2 9.32 Sweet Dreams My LA Ex

We'll get to the winner in a bit, but first, let's talk Rachel. Kicking her solo career off just 3 months after the release of Say Goodbye, Sweet Dreams My LA Ex was released as her very first single. The track, written by Cathy Dennis, was initially offered to Britney Spears, but she declined as the lyrics were inspired by her relationship with Justin Timberlake. It was then offered to Rachel, and hit #2 in the charts, finishing 2003 as the 22nd biggest seller! Also, the ribbon choreography in the video is ICONIC

What a great song this is! I remember me and Jay did discussing this at the time on msn we both loved it.

 Utterly brilliant, my favourite Rachel song and actually my favourite S Club related song overall! :o It really was the perfect debut for her and it was no surprise that it was a huge smash. It actually reminds me of beginning Year 11, which was my favourite year at school... This being 17 years ago... I truly cannot, lmao :( #old
Sweet Dreams should have won this. :( It's quite a unique pop song in terms of melody, especially the bit before the chorus.

1 9.82 Don't Stop Movin'

Of course, there could only be one winner! Don't Stop Movin' was the first single from S Club 7's third album Sunshine, following five months after Never Had a Dream Come True, and, amazingly, seven whole months before its parent album! Quite a long time when there's only one other pre-album single! Don't Stop Movin' had two one-week stints at #1 and is by far the group's biggest seller, likely over one million chart units nowadays. The track gave S Club some credibility with a unique pop song packed full of hooks. Jo and Bradley shine on lead vocals, and it still stands up as an incredible pop song today. It's a surefire contender for my all-time favourite song!

Thanks to all who voted!!

A pop classic  My favourite S Club 7 song for sure. The return to #1 in its 4th week of release was quite an unusual occurrence in those days! It certainly deserved more than a week on top so I'm glad that happened.

The video must have been fairly cheap to produce, but it's a lot of fun and memorable. I'm sure I remember reading that it was originally planned to be shot outdoors, but I can't find evidence to support that memory!

Thank you so much for hosting this, Joseph! Such a great trip down memory lane
