The Corrs saw the most of their success in the mid to late 90's but had some success aswell in the decade that followed, as a huge fan who bought all their albums, what is your fave album from them.

Talk on corners for me, thats the only album I really like from them, lots of good songs, plus I also like a couple songs from their 1st album (Runaway, Heaven Knows)

they lost me as a fan when they went pure-pop with In Blue

I actually managed to get through the 90s and 00s without ever hearing an album by the Corrs! :o

You’re Forgiven, not Forgotten :(

it's impossible :D they were everywhere
‘Talk On Corners’ by default as that’s the only one on that list I’ve listened to in full

The re released version of talk on corners is my fave but I love in blue aswell and really enjoy white light, it was a great comeback album. Jupiter calling was disappointing for ne.

Talk On Corners, which was the first album I ever owned.

I’d put Borrowed Heaven second and Forgiven, Not Forgotten third. Both are fantastic.

White Light was a great comeback album too.

I like all the others too, and loved In Blue a lot the time, but it did take them too far in the pure pop direction. One song, Give It All Up, was almost straying into Vengaboys territory.

I think my Corrs ranking goes

1 Talk On Corners

2 White Light

3 Borrowed Heaven

4 Forgiven, Not Forgotten

5 In Blue

6 Jupiter Calling

7 Home

My Rankings would be

01 Talk On Corners

02 White Light

03 In Blue

04 Borrowed Heaven

05 Forgiven, Not Forgotten

06 Home

07 Jupiter Calling

Mine would be:

1. Talk On Corners

2. Borrowed Heaven

3. Forgiven, Not Forgotten

4. White Light

5. In Blue

6. Jupiter Calling

7. Home

A big gulf between In Blue and the bottom two. I never hugely got into Jupiter Calling as I did their other regular studio albums although I still like it. Home feels like a completely different beast altogether but it’s a pleasant listen, just one I don’t go back to much.

Unplugged would be between In Blue and Jupiter Calling in my rank.

I'd always thought of Dandu* as an educated fellow of impeccable taste and character. But ALAS

1. Talk On Corners

But absolutely not the "Special Edition" and that diabolical remix of "I Never Loved You Anyway" which was musical VANDALISM

I heard a remix of "Intimacy" that came out last year - it was dreamy and sleepy and lovely and very boring and I LOVED IT

2. Forgiven Not Forgotten

"Closer" remains my favourite power-ballad of all time. That icy piano. OOH I GET THE SHIVERS

== SIGNIFICANT GAP ==

3. In Blue

Some nice moments, but I rue the day they met Mutt Lange as they lost all sense of direction from thereon

4. White Light

I think of this more favourably simply because it was OMGTHECORRSAREBACK as opposed to this being particularly earth-shattering. And sadly someone clearly locked Jim in a cupboard during the song-writing sessions, for not a single mention of man-eating lizards

5. Borrowed Heaven

90% of this was the EXACT SAME BACKING TRACK with marginally different lyrics

== CHASM ==

6. Jupiter Calling

It's amazing how every time the Corrs made a point of "we've made a REAL MUSIC album returning to our ROOTS", we all wish they hadn't. Exceedingly bland, and for all of the promo promising a gritty political anthem, "SOS" had all the bang of Emma-Bunton-walks-past-a-student-union-march.

7. Home

All very worthy and traditional, but also MISERABLE. The soundtrack of people being too bored to find the razor blades.

The what can i do remix on the new version of talk on corners was great, i much preferred that version.White light in general i thought was a strong album outside the omg the Corrs are back, i really like alot of the songs on the album and i listen to the album alot, the uptempo version of stay is one of my fave songs from them from their entire catalogue.
Talk on corners was always going to win as it's such a strong album met with massive worldwide success.
