22 'Crazy's have hit the chart although intriguingly none have done so in the 2010s (or 2020s so far). which of these are your faves?

For a song title with so many chart entries barely any of them seem to be actual hits with longevity so I fully expect Gnarls Barkley will be taking the win here. I've only heard that and the Seal song but not so keen on that so my vote goes solely to Gnarls Barkely.

I voted for Icehouse but would have gone for Patsy Cline but there was no option. It's by far the superior song.

What about Aerosmith?

double A-side with Blind Man so didn't come up in my search - I'll add.

Voted Aerosmith and Gnarls

I like but don't love Gnarls but that's a very weak list compared to the 'Stay' thread imo.

Lucid and Gnarls Barkley are my faves.

I also voted for Eternal because I remember liking the gospel influences on this back when I heard it through a "Top Of The Pops: 1994 Bitesize EP" in 2013/14

I think Gnarls Barkley and Seal are the only ones I've even heard and I am not really a fan of the Seal one oops so I'm gonna be mainstream and just vote for Gnarls :kink:

Seal

Eternal

Alanis is a cover of Seal

I voted Seal, Eternal, Gnarls & Aerosmith. There aren't as many classic 'Crazy's as classic 'Stay's!

That caught me out a few times on the other thread. I also just discovered that Patsy Cline's 'Crazy' made #14 in 1990 - it's labelled on Polyhex as 'Crazy {1990}' so that wouldn't have come up on our searches either. Probably a bit late to add it to this poll, but it does mean I have two add another two Crazys to my list on the other thread!

actually Patsy Cline, Julio Iglesias and Leann Rimes are covers of the same song... the original is a Willie Nelson classic country song... not sure if the original charted... from those 3 covers, the Patsy Cline one is the one that charted first

Patsy Cline is arguably the most famous version too.. I did think it was odd that it hadn't charted when I first compiled that list a few days ago
