WRONG! here's the proof:

 

- Single that started an era Maybe was the first ever perfect pop single in history. Thus, it started an era beyond any other ever.

- Single that ended an era No other single since has managed to reach its peak of quality so technically, it also closed that era itself. An iconic move, unparalelled.

- A song that doesn't have a music video Maybe (Latino Mix) doesnt have a video, and it is pretty much a whole new song anyway, and was released later.

- A remix, b-side or bonus track Maybe Latino Mix is incredible and probably the best b-side/remix ever released.

I'd be happy to 'gamble' with a few solo songs tbh. I think What took you so long could do well as could Mi chico latino and It's raining men potentially. Also I did suggest Too many teardrops for the single that charted outside of top 75 (which Mel smashed for us instead! :wub: )

I'm definitely open to trying out Emma and Geri hits in earlier rounds next year! Hopefully it wouldn't backfire. :kink:

We were thinking time for Spice up your life and was going to save 2 become 1 for the end (should we make it) but we could potentially look at using 2 become 1 first and saving SUYL... It's how confident we feel about making it through I mean there's going to be some huge songs this round!

This round is for sure going to include huge highlights from the other artist discographies! I could see heavy hitters like Umbrella and Hung Up being in the mix.

 

I have a strong feeling that Spice Up Your Life is our safest and most viable choice to see us through a potentially difficult round. :o

 

 

I love 2 Become 1, but it didn't do amazingly in AF Idol 1.0 in a relatively earlier round:

'2 Become 1' getting less votes than 'Salute' last time makes me think that Little Mix would do better than '2B1' on this occasion too, considering that they'll have a bigger song than Salute lined up for the next round.

Why can I foresee the Spice Girls getting eliminated using a classic after getting through the past two rounds with Mel C songs?

I'm thinking Spice up your life is the best bet, as much as I'd love to end the show on Spice up your life I think we have less chance going through with 2 become 1. Plus if we do go out then we end with Spice up your life which is quite fitting lol.

 

Or we could delight Mr X and send Maybe...
